Slx. 25

[Aqua-pure Portadown]

I have an SLX 25 for approx 10 mths now ,for approx a week now one of the clamps is spinning on the pole (rotating on its own pole and not another pole )

Anybody else have this problem and if so how is it fixed ??

I had that on an old brdex pole. had to remove clamp, clean it, then refit it with epoxy.

I have had a section spin, but solved by tightening up the screw on the clamp.

I feel your pain Green I started with the brodex poles before getting the SLX they are **** !!! :-(

I only ended up with Brodex poles as they were free with a used system I bought, I have given them all away now and just have the one left.

I personally use the SLX18 for 90% of my work and my SLX25.

Going to get a 45 next but not too sure which yet.

super glue worked for my c.l.x.

is it the clamp housing thats come unstuck from the carbon tube or is it the section wont clamp proply if its the clamp housing then glue it back on the carbon tube an it will b fine if its the clamp that wont bite the section an cause spinning then maby replace the shim

this happens regular, i just tighten nut up on clamp. mines only a few months old also

It's nothing to do with screw

Take the clamp off pole section- sand it and glue with araldite

Also new shim while ur at it
