So i was speaking to a woman this morning who said watton at stone where her parents live which is a local village about 3 miles away from me has lost their local window cleaner and not seen him for a few months

I leafleted 1 road with my son in about 45 minutes and walked away with 50 quid of regular new work for monday and 80 for thursday which is when i can fit em in

Gonna hit the rest of the roads round there this Saturday and Sunday

Nice. I'm dying to go hunting for more work but I'm snowed under at the moment. I've got too many people that have been waiting too long for jobs to get done. Still on a mission to make my existing round more compact by only targetting the surrounding areas, but people keep calling from here there and everywhere.

I know what you mean

Had a reshuffle not so long ago but i reckon i need another one due to new work gained since

I don't want to do too much daily but am sort of addicted to money lol

The plan is to get more work and either cull it to a tight compact jobbie or end up employing someone part time to do certain areas for me leaving me close to home

Yep, re-shuffle works wonders. I had one a few months back and extended the amount of days I do by making each day a little shorter, but the days quickly built up again so I think I'm due another oneto give me a chance to find new work like you did. This was only supposed to be a small round lol.

I keep arranging work so I end up with a few days free to go leaflet or do some other marketing in an area I have customers already, then I get a pressure washing job come in and it never happens, this has been going on for about a year now lol

Thats exactly my issue.I had earmarked today for a couple of local easy cleans that were left ove with the bad rain we had the other day, and the afternoon was for a nice bit of leafletting. But I got a text last night at 10:30 from some builder wanting me to fit a couple of carpets. Sounded like a good screw (it wasnt, lol) so I went for it. Starting to get a bit stressed now though as jobs are backing up and i'm starting to let people down, which is bad for business in the long run.

It's not far

Watton is a good size if you count the roads off station rd not just off the main drag

I live off the road with the petrol station on the roundabout next to the borough ground so very easy for me

Easy to get to from Stevenage. Especially if yer live near the footie ground.

Long as not over 20 miles it should work ,that what i found anyway. you can stretch yourself further than what you think.

nows the time to take on the lad/or lass . dont delay or you will get worn to a point trying to cope when more work is still pouring in. "the hole in the roof scenario"

the lad-lass can always be leafletting to extend that hole in the roof .

work, itll keep pouring in now thats a dead cert now that the recession is really over

saturday morning is a good time to leaflet-oh its a real drag and who wants to be out at 9 am yes i know all that-nontheless satday morn is a very good time to trudge the streets in my experience. because once the calls come in you have time later in the day to peruse the diary while sitting in your armchair on satday eve, slotting the new work in using that rollerpen you treated yerself too [later to be nicked by a kid ]

youvve a smug smile glancing at the diary page as you quaff a beer
