hi guys ive got a contract coming up to clean a load of bus stops and shelters over 2 months, i already have a full wfp set up with a 700 litre tank in the van, im planning on splitting the water feed pipe and having a straight feed from tank onto a petrol pressure washer to give them a quick spray down and was wondering can anyone recommend a cheapish pressure washer for this sort of work alone, i dont plan to go into path drive cleaning etc as my window cleaning keeps me more than busy and the bus stops will fit in nicely early mornings etc.

ive seen these on ebay and thinking if i get 12 months out of one then its money well spent based onthe money it wil earn me, its not 15lpm etc but as i say its just to spray down bus stops and the floor etc and thats it!

If that's all you need It for then go for that Clarke one mate, I'm sure it will be fine, may not be the most powerful but for washing down things it'd be perfect really, if you can stretch the budget a bit get a 10lpm jetmac machine, it will be pretty good quality,

How are you getting the water?

Hi guys thanks for replying, that eBay one looks very simple and if it's strong enough for washing bus stops down it may be spot on!

As regards water supply I have a 700 litre tank in the van and have a split feed coming out the tank where I can take normal tap water straight from the tank or the other feed goes through my di filtering system to purify it for window cleaning.

I hope the gravity of the water would force the water down the line to the pressure washer.

The pressure washer would draw it out mate, that one I posted in the link has a suction hose with a filter on it, would be perfect! Nice and light , good on fuel, and will do the job...
