Let's just 'pretend' the government banned wfp due to water wastage or something stupid...

Would you go back to trad, or jack it in and move on to something else...

(Yes I know wfp will never be banned, just interested to see what your responses would be if trad was the only option)

I think I'd go back to trad but would put prices up a lot!

Failing that, I don't think I could go back to trad... I'd have to move on, I think I stopped enjoying window cleaning when I was full time trad, wfp changed that big time!

you could just go round breaking windows.using the WFP pole , as a lance or javelin

think of the publicity ,itd be incredible

oh course youd get locked up but then you can write your autobiography

So was I davey, I hated the idea of wfp but now I can't ever imagine going back to trad, and I was one of the guys who absolutely slated it a years ago!

well, never say never . but id think id go underground and continue trad . perhaps travel in a van with a fake signwriting "water pole ONLY " but then drag out the ladder

Ha ha, once you try wfp Jonny, you won't wanna go back to trad... That's if you ever try it, nothing wrong with trad though

Would you never wfp tops??You would be surprised how much you would enjoy it

I thought i wouldn't like it but i was wrong

But why though? Just interested to know what both your opinions are on why you think it's better. Do you mean you find it a more pleasurable experience than trad?

For instance, sad as it sounds but I find it almost therapeutic and satisfying blading off glass. I'm sure I'd miss it!

I might find out one day, who knows!

I'd be going back into chemical engineering, I couldn't be doing with ladders and trad work all day.

I did trad for 26 years and am very quick

Wfp has made me a lot faster and not climbing ladders at iffy angles anymore

The main bonus is doing connys etc so much easier, safer and quicker

It's just so much easier ant, and faster, it's also strangely satisfying as well, I still trad some houses, but wfp is always more appealing, I also want to reach for the pole rather than ladders and squeegee, many say the same...

I would probably pack it in to be honest.

And why people can be so anti wfp I will never know, at the end of the day this is a business and we are in it to make money, wfp allows you to do it faster which earns more money, its that simple, not to mention how infinitely safer it is and in my opinion works better as well.

What's NOT to like?

Those reasons do sound appealing! Being able to knock out more jobs in a day, good!

Losing the ladders and keeping feet on ground, good also. Especially after watching the part timer take a tumble recently!

I was just intrigued to know so thanks chaps

I think one day I may convert

Oh and to answer the thread question, if I was wfp, unless an amazing job opportunity landed in my lap (doubtful) of course back to trad /emoticons/smile.png

Don't waste time ant, tomorrow's too late to go wfp, the sooner the better! Trust me! I wish I did it years and years ago

Yeah, been on my mind for a while now.

Problem is, I'm a huge procrastinator! I was watching Wagga's trolley build vid's feeling all inspired. Who am I kidding, I'll never get round to doing that!!

In that case just buy a fully fitted van system... /emoticons/wink.png
