decided to go back to the unger s channel today and it was like putting on an old pair of slippers, fed up with the temperamental liquidator, had it working ok sporadically but always seems to need adjusting to prevent draglines. Read quite a few threads and understand that it may be down to a bit of technique, rubber size, endclips etc, just seems to me that for the cost of them they should just work full stop.

Everyone is different

Some people struggle with the entire channels as they are wider

I have had no problems personally but if it don't work for you then use something that does

I have had no problems using it, but i got wooden frames all over, so the rubber is torn within 1 hour witch means big expence in rubber. Got one office with loads of internals where i use it and it saves time, so i m back using my ettores. But nothing wrong with the tool as it is, it all comes down to technique.

I suppose they work properly in their own handle, but for me they work OK in a Wagtail, I've never got one to work in an ordinary squeegee handle.

definitely harder to use the moerman channel [when fitted into a wagtail ] than the original wagtail set up

i know this cos iv been using the Wag-moerman non stops for weeks now but one day last week i got up my ladder realized my squeegee was still in my van so got a co-worker to throw me up his wagtail [original] squeegee and the glide was oh so much better it was a real joy to use

hoWEVER i had to touch up the edges with a rag which i never have to do with the moerman

im sticking with it but i dont love it not sure why its just a gut feeling . like i thought id got a great girl but then noticed moneys gone missing, cant put my finger on where its gone....

i used to be able to fan cleanly a window with my eyes shut[try it] but i cant with the moerman, i cant fathom why , not sure why

what im getting at is im not sure what it is that takes more effort with it. iv noticed on various online vids nobody fans fast with the moer channel and if you look everyones eyes are concentrating on it

Handle on Wagulator set at 20° (Herman's Heat Gun trick) and ensure the angle of the channel is identical to original Wagtail, Razer Red or Ettore rubber...magic. I'm no slower with this than my original Wags...

I Think it's because you can't see the end of the rubber when you're trying for the edge like you can with an ordinary squeegee.

i use the liquidator all the time pleased with it very little detailing at all

as the guys say dont fan quick

they will improve on it in future get rid off that **** handle for starters

I have no issues using it myself Duncs but as I am an old school 'pre detailer' after applicator it is a bit redundant for me.

My detailing is included at the same time as the frames so there is no way it saves me any time or effort on the job I am doing.
