Most likely a dream that won't ever come true for most of us, but lets just say you struck it lucky and your numbers came up on the lotto or you came into a large amount of money somehow somewhere, how much would you need to become a man of leisure and not work at all, or perhaps just do something as a hobby to keep you busy with the main emphasis not on making money ???

Trev I mentioned before that my misuses family won the lottery,surprised no one has asked how much lol

Anyways it was split between 8 of them and I've never seen a penny and certainly wouldn't except it

They all still work in there high flying jobs and to them I'm just a windie

But that said if I won the lottery I'd def hang up the squeeguee enjoy my life and spend it making my kids happy

That said I'd set up a little via gym as I miss the lads from my old gym they were good times

just read your thread your not just a windie you have your own business which you have worked hard for

It all depends on what your used to I've always worked since I was 14 I built a office and window cleaning Company from nothing to turning over 1mil I still went to work every day cleaning windows I just loved the banter with customers most of our stuff was commercial even though I was the boss I loved having a good laugh with the staff. after 18 years running the company we sold it and moved to Spain. after 14 years in Spain We have returned to the uk and I'm starting again only this time only window and gutter cleaning I'm loving it its going really well .Just goes to prove the grass is not always greener.

20 million and I would pack it in buy properties and rent out and then live in spain on the rental income.

Iwould hang up my squeegee the moment I got 500k. It would allow me to buy a reasonably sized run down house, extend it, do it up, and sell it. Then rinse and repeat for bigger and bigger places. I'vegot plenty of contacts, trade accounts, and can do most trades without help.

A life changing amount would see me invest in my business, hire staff to run it then bugger off for a year or so round the world doing all the things I've ever wanted to do!

Once I've fulfilled my desires? Don't know! Maybe buy a drum set and a Gibson Les Paul guitar and spend my days hitting the skins and rocking out in the recording studio of my new mansion :rock:
