Hmm, 2 weekly could make it more easy though, as they'll always be clean... If it takes you a day, maybe go £200 every two weeks? That's good money a Month!

I think I'm going to go back and take another look tomorrow. What you see in the pics is about 2/5ths of the whole job. The balconies are going to be a PITA and the ladders will have to come off, plus I'm a short ****, so getting back on my ladder from the balcony could be eventful . My first thought was that it would take a day and a half maybe a tad less, but certainly more than a day. The director has said she is contacting a total of 6 companies but I don't want to go in cheap and regret it. I did think about winning it and subbing it as I think I will struggle to find time to do it anyway. Oh yeah, there's the problem of parked cars, old foggys wandering about and I reckon the furthest point from where I can park is going to be over 100M.

If your doing it every 2 weeks you'll probably be able to get away with just rinsing those juliet balconies from above the railings once clean right? Unless theres some bird poop on them. That would save an hour alone easy! If it was me and I wanted the work and to compete on price I'd probably price it at say £180ish as every 2 weeks would be pretty straightforward, but if monthly and getting a price I'd be more happy with it's be more like £280. Good luck!

I have a few elderly customers that get their windows done fortnightly.

Reason is simply that they spend a lot of time inside and having clean windows is a small but significant 'luxury' that they really enjoy and look forward to.

Bet it's quite an important topic of conversation for the residents within the home.

And in terms of price - although it's nice to have clean windows it's also an expectation (from families visiting, whoevers funding it, inspections etc) so hopefully they will just want someone that is reliable, courteous, flexible and can be spotless with the clean.

Hope you get it Tuffers /emoticons/smile.png
