ecover on a brush moves all the green stuff fantastic but these black stains dont seem to shift what do any of you use that might remove it

I've tried all sorts on those *******, looks like its stained 'into' the uPVC. I can get it to fade, or scrape it off with a blade sometimes, which takes ages, but it usually beats me. Best I do is make it fade and less dark, always looks better after a good scrub but never goes away entirely. Customers still happy and understand, I say its mould and gone into the uPVC, done the best I can. Think it would need bleaching.

MAGIC SPONGE....job done

Just needs a little elbow grease and maybe a spot of ubik or flash or something to encourage it

That i would class as restoration not cleaning so charge accordingly

Yeah but dave on fsg that would involve going up a ladder to use a magic sponge /emoticons/tongue.png:rofl:

What do you have against ladders:p

Not like they're dangerous or anything

I got 2 neighbours fsg tomorrow with no big ladders as sold my biguns

Harris pole with adjustable angle and progutter tool on the end for bits i can't get to easily and father in laws 2 section ladders just to get up at 1 end to scoop it out

I rarely do these jobs nowadays but this was too good to turn down

Will stand on the ground and move most of it to 1 end and sweep up after

Gutter vac is next after van

My wonky arm says they are /emoticons/tongue.png

Cleaning the exterior fsg is eady with wfp. How are you cleaning the insides out with a progutter tool without ladders? But you can't love ladders that much if your going for a gutter vac

Nobody will be in and my harris pole has the adjustable crank on the end and cone from my optiloc pole

I can bend it 90° and then ise it to drag the muck to 1 end or on the deck

I forgot i had said i would do them before i sold my ladders a month ago so i told her they got knicked when she reminded me

I said i can do them as good as poss from the ground and then sweep up the muck and she was fine..i said j can borrow some ladders but as no ankalad on them i would do as much as poss from the ground..can put my micro standoff on to sit on the tiles also

I spent 26 years up and down ladders bump and got to the point i can't be arsed with it all now and have found wfp so much easier

If they were done regularly they would be alright say once a year. I tell the customer this and any streaks or black marks I put down to bird **** acid eating the upvc coating away and if not removed quickly can leave permanent staining.

That's a good point, I always stress the point that I offer a pvc wash service or con roof washing never use the word 'clean'.

a upvc solvent with a magic spung will conker these tiger strips ect ladder can b safe if u have the rite gear
upvc solvent cleaner is the stuff to use for restoration work although if you're not on the rungs no more like me it's pretty awkward to apply it if doing tops, mind you can customers really see up there? I might take a bottle with me so if they start nitpicking on stains they can see on botts I can restore it for a fee of course!View attachment 5178

Just did 2 neighbours fsg

1 was perfect the other was so stained that with all the stuff completely cleaned off it was grey all over

I did call the customer to have a look once i had done about a metre just so she could see the difference and inform her

No way that was coming off without a restoration job which would be ££

I gotta stop doing these add on jobs as they are interfering with my round now i am getting busy
