She emailed me through my website as i left a card through her door.... I went and quoted her husband yesterday and then she called me this morning saying i want them i said to her i will clean it today...

so i cleaned her house half way through she goes to me... do you just leave them wet or do u dry them ? I said to her it drys by it self its pure water and it leaves no streaks... and she goes to me waters coming through those air vents.... upstairs... i go loads or just a bit ? she goes just a bit.... then she went back inside i completed the job and gave her the receipt.

I said to her again was it loads of water ? or just a bit she goes just a little puddle i go to her u wanna get it checked out because their designed so no water can leak through.

Then i go i do tons of houses with vents like that and their fine she said to me i know im going to have to sort it out its just that 1 the rest are fine... Her house is pretty new and the other day i had the same problem with another customer on the same road and i told her i said to her when her house was built the builders must of messed about to much fitting them.

She was happy with my work though and said how often can u come then ? i go 4 weeks /emoticons/smile.png she even offered me a £1.00 tip which i said to her u keep it /emoticons/smile.png

lol

I only once turned down a tip in 10 years, but I refused payment altogether on that job.

That pound would have gotten me a Monster.lol

The pound would of been rite in my pocket lol
Same here, Now when it come to christmas she will think her self, ''no need to offer a tip he will just tell me to keep it.''

I once refused a tip of a very old lady, She didnt look happy after I refused it she looked kind of insulted lol

I got another tip for £1.00,, today i normally take tips.... i always take tips !

But because of her water leaking through i felt a bit awkward if u get me... lol

But its all good /emoticons/tongue.png lol

I was doing a house yesterday with the pole, really old leaded glass with metal frames, I always nip round when I'm finished to have a Jeffrey, but noticed there was trickles of water all in the insides!! Lucky they were not in and hope it dried out by time they got home lol..

Also I heard someone mention about vents before? Do you just be careful and not scrub over the vents too much? As it was freakig me out for the rest of the day incase I wrecked something lol

If I think or know a vent is going to leak I wet the frame or window just below then turn off the water and scrub the vent, this gets it clean without water leaking through.

NEVER say no to a tip are you made of money?
