I have my first 3 shopfronts tomorrow! I said £8 for shopfronts. For invoice tomorrow do I add 20% for TVA or do they expect it to be included in my £8 already??

Plus on my invoices there is a space for VAT reg'd no. What is it??

Haha you can only charge vat if you are vat registered. Which you must advertise upfront. You don't need to charge vat if not registered.

For your invoice, just buy an invoice book from staples and keep it in the van for any jobs you need to invoice.

Think I go through 1 invoice book every couple of years if you don't ask I don't give lol simple as that ...Are many lads on here VAT registered as once you have all your stuff outlays are minimum and I don't see much point

Ha! I doubt many of us are turning over £82,000 mate lol!

@fab the invoice just simply needs

Date,

Description of work done,

Amount due,

Payment details,

Company name,

That's about it

Plenty of invoice apps for android and iphone

Make the invoice and email straight to them when you finish the job

View attachment 5325 Yeah like davey boy said, get an app and then email it off,

I've been using 'pages' on the iPhone, here's a little screen shot of some of the invoices - there all there saved , all I need to do is change the date and invoice number and then send off as a pdf, which the app lets you do nice and easy,

Worth a look, it's a free app as well

For regular customers can you have the invoice saved and then just change the date on them?

Yeah of course @TolishAPurd that's why I said all you need to do is change date and invoice number then send off via email... /emoticons/smile.png
