Here is the tank and reels guys - Not a great picture but that is all i can find for now.

As you can see multiple holes where the filters sat - also where the resin bottle is i modded the plastic that stops it from falling over it used to go all the way to the left and be the same with a water softener bottle exactly the same as the resin but i removed it when i had GrippaTank fit a new battery and auto charger. if you look closely you can see the tank has some "scars" just above the battery case.

The reels are Hannay.

@bareknuckle4 do you have the registration number?

That way we can keep tabs on van trader etc and if a transit connects has your number plate then atkeast well know!

I hope they are stupid and don't change the plates

Sorry to hear your bad news, thats totally nasty.

My wifes old boss had a brand new fitted out window cleaning van stolen from one of his workers drives. He was able to find it parked inside someones garage, how did he find it, his vans have trackers, he called the police, they were not interested to get the van out, the person had just gone away on holiday, probably to cover his tracks, dont know the outcome though, but this was in scotland.

This is ****. What is wrong with people! They are scum.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.
The biggest joke to me was that the police was not even interested. gave me a CR number and that was it. Did not want pictures or want details of what was in it what it looks like - nothing.

@Tuffers the van was not sign written mate and i only had emails and calls for the van no one came to see it. I did receive a deposit which i have to send back but the guy didn't come to look at it.

So yea i will be keeping my eyes peeled but the equipment was as follows -

2x SLX 22 - Average Condition

1x SLX 35 - Like New (4 months old)

1x iZettle Bluetooth Card reader

1x 650LTR Black Baffled Tank very distinguishable as the part that holds the resin bottle was adjusted by myself and i cut it a little wonky:/ It also had Quick fill tap on the left hand side of it. Tank was built for a Transit Connect T230L.

It also has pre drilled holes were the filters once sat. Shurflow pump and pure freedom digital flow reg.

2x Hennay Reels - One reel has a brand new barrel on the left hand side.

1x GrippaTank Auto charger and Leisure 100MA Battery.

plus the contents of the van but i won't bore you all with that stuff.

So im guessing someone some where is selling a complete set up or just parts..

For someone it will be a small profit - for me its going to be a huge expense that I'm not sure i will recover from. Cancelled holiday today too /emoticons/sad.png FML
Did you give your address to anyone who was interested?

Keep your eyes peeled everyone and also here as well although they would be very stupid to come here and advertise!

The police are **** they never want to know these days.

@Jake Hey mate, unfortunately the conversation i had with my insurance company and some of the things they were insinuating because i had it up for sale have made me a bit worried about sharing the plate # until they have made me a offer and paid up - I swear they will all do anything to get out of paying.

@Gav Hey! - Nah mate i did not have anyone look at it nor did i give my address out. I don't think it was linked to Gumtree or here. I'm guessing they just wanted the van and got some bonus bits to sell on?

@peter rogers originally i wanted to upgrade the van. Then i was going to have a break as i have been struggling with a illness and now i will have to go straight back at it as otherwise this will be the end of my cleaning days. I'm taking the opportunity to re order my work and get rid off the slow payers and awkward jobs.

Just hope i can afford to replace everything - this weekend i sat down and added everything up that has been stolen and it is pretty scary o_O

Just found this thread..

What a bunch of evil w######

Fair enough if someone steals from a big company as they can swallow the loss until insurance pays up (not advocating stealing from anyone mind..just making a point)

Stealing from normal everyday people trying to make a living is disgusting and i hope you find them and cut their ******** off mate

Steal my tv and i can buy a new one

Steal my work tools i can't work to buy new ones

*******

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that i am still waiting on a agreed fee to enter my bank account and that the insurance company i use (not broker) is a joke!!!

Stalling and stalling with every excuse under the sun.

I do not have the time to go into complete detail right now but i felt the need to quickly spread the word so no one here ends up with them.

Ok so i went with A-Plan who so far are really good.

But the actual company who they insured me with are www.markerstudy.com

Avoid like the plaque!!!!!! They lie and lie and argue on the phone, refuse to let me speak with anyone higher up i.e. a boss. AVOID!

Sorry to here about you stuff buddy ad they say everything happens for a reason so I hope it's for bigger and better for yourself m8.....

Hey guys hope you are all ok, So i finally got paid and even though the van was valued at £9,000 they gave me £5,000 and i could not find the same van with the same amount of owners or in the same condition as what i had so i have had to use the £5,000 for a deposit and take out finance with Ford to get a transit custom.

So with that being said my next obstacle is the dreaded Insurance.

Can anyone recommend me a good insurance company that i will be declaring water fed pole window cleaning equipment in the back.

So far i have had a quote for £1,079.26p which to me seems excessive considering my brother has a similar van which is worth more, only had one owner and is not a base model. I have no points he has three and i have over nine years protective no claims.

He pays around the £700 for full comprehensive.

Thanks in advance guys/girls.

Do you want the vehicle insurance to cover the equipment? Mine covers me for having the water tank in the back at no cost and it's £300 for the year. 35 years old, driving 17 years, 0 accidents and 0 points. 2 policies both with 9 years protected ncd.

I'm with tescos insurance and pay under 300 for my car with business cover plus wife as named driver with business cover for her own business

Had the policy since i had vans years ago

I think when i had my transit it was only a little more and my rs turbo was under 300 for a modified car

Interesting to get a quote and see as they seem reasonable

Driving since 1992 with no blameworthy accidents..fully com with ncd covered and full ncd

Adrian flux insurance, with tools in van cover, fully comp, 4/5 yrs ncd £666. I think your better of calling companies rather than using comparison sites if they don't give you a satisfactory price, call up adrian flux, direct line, lv etc and any others not online imo.

I'm with NFU mutual, they have an office in my town, I know all the people there, cheapest for my pick up as well.
