I have used it on stubborn stains on PVC and I have read, but not yet tried myself, that it can help remove lead staining on glass.

It can help clean rust staining and corrosion stains off metal window frames.

NOTE: Trust me, It burns your skin if you get it on you. [emoji15]

i finally got round to using the hydrochloric acid aforementioned. used it yesterday on a hard water stained window. this window was as badly stained as they come . tipped out a little on a rag and wiped it on over the whole glass pane

boy it gave off toxic fumes so glad we were outdoors.

anyhow i left it on about 30 seconds then soaped up and squeegeed off , it came up like new glass! Amazing, But defo i will be buying gloves for next time cos i know its lethal stuff . just thought id share this
