Hot Water For Under £100

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Friend of mine works with mobile gas and always recommends periodically spreading water and fairy liquid on all pipes and joints to check for leaks.

My set up is very similar to yours green. I paid £70 for mine. Its a fogwash heater from aquatec. Agree with you about not having it set to hot. I have mine on warm and it still keeps all the hoses lovely warm and soft

Do you think hot is worth it?
It's a godsend for first cleans and Conservatories, cladding cleans etc.

Tomorrow morning have two full English fry up then don't wash the plates, leave them sitting in the sun for a year or so then get the first plate and time how long it takes you to wash it to a satisfactory condition in cold water then time how long it takes to do the other one in hot water.

Conservatories that used to take 2 - 3 'go overs' with my cold system and took up to 3 hours I can now do once over in an hour using hot.

For £100 how can it not be worth it?

When the weather gets icy, most definitely. Winding in a warm hose and having a warm hose inside your pole makes a hell of a difference on your hands. Plus I find its less likely to freeze as quick before it gets to the bottom of the glass

Glad you did a video for Jake pal, I forgot o_O il do one tomo morning showing the stainless one /emoticons/wink.png

Can you not heat the water before putting it in your van tank or add a couple of boiled kettles to it in the morning to warm it up a little?

A couple of boiled kettles won't affect 500L of very cold pure Mr Bump /emoticons/biggrin.png

Question to you Green, how long have you been WFP? Am I right in saying you've been WFP for a few months?

Up to 3 hours for a conny :whew:. An hour tops for a Polycarb and 2 hours tops for a glass.

Both take the same time, tried it this morning, I put the plate on the side and when I got home it was clean

I use hot water for all cleans now, I fire up mine before leaving for jobs, and turn off when done, I clean with approx 55 degrees for windows/frames, have been upto 70 odd on dirty F/S/G and it just melts the **** away! Wish my webasto 9kw heater was £100 lol! Sounds like a jet engine when running which makes me look manly in the streets  looking forward to the cold days to see the steam coming off the glass /emoticons/biggrin.png
