Help Support WCF:

Looking for an aqua dapter and I can't find them ? Any help please . Thanks
No longer available.

Will be replaced with a 'Uni-Valve'. Designer estimates 6 weeks until product is ready.

So will this be a better product or what?
Lighter (weights less than 10g), fits inside the top of the pole, cheaper than AD (apparently), uses same pull 'technology' to operate. Designer feels it will be better.

The proof will be in the proverbial pudding, but Steven Jones has done a brilliant job of making/modifying/adapting previous stuff so his reputation says that this will be just as good/another winner.

I will miss the old AD with its turn operated valve/tap as I sometimes used that to reduce water flow rather than go back to the van and reduce it on the controller. But the weight reduction is very appealing.View attachment 5507

I'm told his old customer's will be served first and new ones will have to wait. /emoticons/wink.png

Then you will start to see dozens of used and new A/D's on Ebay that window cleaners are selling off. I will find at least 5 used ones, 4 still on our poles, a scrap one and a new one I purchased as a spare. I also have a few spare parts as well.

Steven Jones put this up on another forum

This is a test on a prototype, going through simulation.

500 RPM for 1hr = 30,000 operations.

The unit got hot due to friction, but still worked perfect.

The results were no leaks at all in the valve, leaks are detected by putting high compressed air through the valve, and placing it under water, no bubbles.

Since switching to the one click remote, I thought I might get a decent price on my 3 aqua dapters. Now I've seen that new product, they'll be as useful as a turd in a swimming pool

When a new model car is launched by a manufacturer they realise they could loose some of their current customer base because they don't like the replacement model. That base will go somewhere else and buy a different make.

However they count on another sector of the market that likes the new model and become their new customers. The object is to gain more customers than they loose.

There will be those who don't like the new Uni-Valve. Its not an upgrade, its totally new. So there is the possibility that there could be a group of cleaners who still prefer the Aquadapter and so all isn't lost. My opinion only though. I certainly won't consider throwing my A/D's away yet.

I will still keep them in operation, but possibly initially upgrade the unit on my everyday pole. I think this will be a winner once the teething problems are sorted. The big draw is the reduced weight, but the downside for me is not having that adjustable flow rate using the on/off wheel - not the end of the world though.

in the next couple of months you will see some really good shut of valves I know this because I have tried them and they are way better than before

yep on and off with just a pull. very nice.this looks light and resilient to bumps and knocks.i like it.and admire companys that keep improving their product. next step pull to stop flow push to start flow.!!! twist to vary flow

I would get one to use with my trolley, but I would still keep my one click for the van mount as I like the fact it turns the pump completely off with no back pressure. It looks a good bit of kit
