Had a sore shoulder last week and now have bad pain up the side of my neck on the same side

All since doing 2 fascia jobs on the same day 2 weeks ago

Anyone else suffer from stick wagglling??

Facias and high up work are the two worst things with wfp and muscle strain Dave, that's why I find it easier and better to do facia cleans by hand on the ladder, it's hard work cleaning facias wfp, maybe give that side of things a miss with the pole, and go back to ladder and cloths...

It's hard work doing S/F/G with a WFP. Buy a carbon pole Davey, it'll make it easier.

I've been fine so far but now am thinking i may need a slx

I am prone to injuring that shoulderever since i tore my subscapilaris..front one of 4 rotator cuff muscles..was over 50% depth tear in it

2 years to heal rather than have surgery and always seem to hurt it even after 8 years

I'd a avoid doing facias with the wfp, that's defo what's I cause the most issues for your shoulder, it's so much more strain on the shoulders than Windows

Course i can afford one lol

May go for a 35' or 25 and some extensions as i do a lot of townhouses

I have a 30ft fibreglass jobbie which i struggle with all the houses i have with loft conversions

If i had a more rigid pole i reckon 30 would be more than enough

Both houses in this pic i do..

Hard work getting the top ones and velux above the conny with 30 ft fibreglass

I have 19 houses in this road and most have these windows or are townhouses

It's more for the onee in the back of the pic that you can see over their back fence

See the velux and roof window above the deep conservatory

That is a struggle with my 30 as it bends..reckon that won't be done with a 25 slx

Oh right, yeah a 35 then perhaps, then take off some sections to make it lighter for normal houses

There is a whole area newer than the rest of the town built like that where i spend over a week a month cleaning

Pain in the arris dividers on the windows

Once the first cleans wfp were out the way it became easy though compared to trad pole above conny and missing roof ones

as soon as you get your SLX davy the better

i had the heavy poles to start with, pains in my arms and chest when I first started

new poles and gd brushes was the best buy I done

It looks like a conny on the house with the Velux? When you have an awkward angle use a gutter to rest the pole on while extending it. I would extend my pole on the conny gutter and then tilt it on to the Velux. That will save you from getting a bad back.

Its the looking up that gets me, you can get a thingy majig that you rest your head on that you wear, also I find standing further back helps a lot.

I get the shoulder burn on f/s/g cleans but it is the neck strain that requires me to stop every 10 mins, but soon get used to it. I use either my Xline evo pro + 25ft or my 30ft, only poles I have had so can't comment on others, I find them light enough, @Diwrnach I have seen those neck support things too, they look like they would be ideal for those jobs! Didn't the blue smurf do a thread on them a bit ago?
