Hi guys

Just wondered what everyone's opinions are on the best value full carbon poles.

I've never used a pole but I'm assuming gardiner 22ft slx is great for a part time windy as far as bang for buck goes.

Anyone else have preferences to there poles and why?

I've only ever used gardiner poles and I luv them, X-Line poles are suppose to be the bees knees too, me personally i would just buy from these 2 companies for carbon poles that's my opinion. Some people like Phoenix poles never tried them but I'm sure someone will be along soon to give you there info [emoji106]

Gardiner poles are reasonably priced and good quality, the clamps work great and you can tighten them up with your fingers if they come loose anytime rather than using a tool to tighten them up, you can add extensions to the poles you buy, very light, there customer service has always been great for me never have I had a problem with gardiners [emoji106] , like i said get some reviews from other people as well.

clx 27 is the best cheapish value pole, if you dont need that length still buy it and take a section or 2 off thats cheaper than buying extensions having said that the slx is better but expensive as a starter pole

Best clamps are facelift for me, (owning both Gardiner and facelift poles)

Both poles are great and all I'll ever use
