I had one, picked it up in the summer seemed like a good lady said her window cleaner stopped coming always left the gate open and money in a shed, then I lost her phone number I turned up unannounced as a car was on the drive, Husband came to the door who I'd never dealt with he said "don't bother today it's going to rain Thursday (this was a Tuesday by the way), he then said call next time you are in the area wtf is that about I have to plan my round? Smelt a rat then? I skipped the month and did them next time, then last time I messaged them she replied " thanks for cleaning my windows the glass was perfect but every time you'd gone I had to go out and clean the pvc, that's funny never heard that one before

This is true had one once who came out and said and I quote " leave them today my husband is reading the newspaper"

I had one who said leave it today I've been to the dentist and he has told me to rest :rofl:. I let fly and asked what has going to the dentist got to do with me cleaning your windows. I ended up doing them and I think she realised she was on the dump list.

It's cause it's not usually essential or urgent isn't it, mot mechanics and boiler repairers don't get this, could be where the 'myth of a patch' is an advantage if they think they can't mess us around in case they cannot get another guy easily

Patches weren't necessarily bad things. The jobs fast becoming a one here and one there gig.

If I went back to when I started I would say I come around every 6 weeks then a small delay over xmas. If they say no find another that will say yes. 4,6 and 8 weekly my diary is like a puzzle.

I do 4-8-12 weeks , course they Can be altered from 12 to 8 or 4 but i dont do Any exstras Out of my round for a single customer and waste my time . If they dont understand that , its drown the drain with Them . The only exception is if its really convienent for my self , otherwise no Way !
