Had the boot style of those last winter.

Found them too hard soled so had to add a cushioned insole and gel heel inserts.

The outsole wore out very quickly, but all these hiking shoes do. They're made off-road use not urban & ladders.

Just go into Sportsdirect, they have a myriad of makes and styles from £20 onwards.

I just bought a Gelert pair and finding them comfy. Fully expect to have to replace them next winter though.

I always wore trainers due to being comfiest on ladders

Now I'm wfp a nice pair of fleece lined riggers are the best..warm as toast and totally dry feet

Ijust try and find cheap shoes now as ladders **** them all up eventually. The pointer ladders have really thin rungs so they trash shoes badly, not to mention that if the sole is too thin or soft then its really uncomfortable. At the moment i have a set of dickies boots which I got for about 17squid and they are really good. They only need to get me to spring and I'll be happy. I also like hard toe caps as I'm forever dropping the ladders on my foot.

Got these todayFlip flops in summer

Nike air max in leather with 2 coats off crep

Light comfy and when working on ladder can feel exactly where the run is on my foot

Only down side there expensiveView attachment 8401
I had a few pairs of those back in the day, blue I think, honestly the most comfortable trainers I ever owned.

The original air max can't be bettered for comfort

These are 20 quid in screwfix and had toastie feet all day

I've had loads of riggers over the years and these are honestly just as good but very cheap
