PARKING PROBLEMS

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I have a good relationship with the ones near me

Not many roads that they actually do around here though

Just mainly the roads around the hospital where people park to avoid the car park charges

My neighbourhood is patrolled by some muppet on a moped who tickets you for parking on grass verges, the pavement or whatever else he thinks you've done wrong. I got a ticket on my car for parking with two wheels slightly on the kerb. I didn't pay it though.

Where was that?

I got a warning in woodfield road off of chancellors rd for parking across the drive not on it and is yellows due to hospital parking

Hi dave the reason i ask is our council have what they call a parking dispensation but they sure dont let any one know about it,a mate of mine told me about it about 6 years ago it allows people like window cleaners to go about their buissiness with out fear of getting a parking fine. i am able to park anywhere i wish excluding loading bays and disabled parking spots, i can even park on double yellows and even park in pay and display car parks for free. it might be worth you guys getting intouch with your councils to see if they do a similar thing

The whole of Chells mate. I see the guy all round here.

That's cool mate

But did you know anyone can park on double yellows for 20 minutes anyway so depends how long the job will take

They have to put your reg in their machine and then again 20 minutes or more later to be able to ticket you

Hi dave yes i do know that we are allowed no limits the wardens come round with their machines to give you a ticket and when they type your reg in they get a message saying dont give him a ticket

Hi folks does anyone have problems while out working with traffic wardens
I was going to dump 3 roads near Bromley train station, this is a main feeder station into London so really busy. The 3 roads have a permit for owners to stop commuters parking there. When I mentioned to them about stopping doing that road, they chipped in and got me a permit which they renew each year. Thought that was nice of them

I've never had any problems with wardens in cambridge so far. The ones I have spoke to have said they recognise my van anyway. Always make sure you leave a note for them on the dash and try and specify where you're working, along with a business card.

I had this made up recently which I stick on my dash board, works a treat and is quick to use;
