That looks like a good sack truck. I might get one, rather than carrying the back pack around......a ball breaking task. Lord only knows how people keep them on their backs for any period of time.....cant be good for the spine.
It's heavy and bulky I've got one waiting to be picked up its got a faulty spring mechanism full backpacks only weigh 30kg this is designed to carry fridge freezers

I needed to put a reel on my trolley as i don't like to keep moving it

Once i get my van i will keep the trolley but thinking of doing the same with a backpack

. @Adams0211 had a go of it earlier and he'll agree i think that its easier than moving a trolley round everywhere or carrying backpack View attachment 5912

Definitely easier with the hose reel. Another thing to add to my list of things to do once Xmas is out of the way. Only twelve more working days til Xmas for me so I'm sure I'll manage for a bit longer without.

Lucky bugger ..where you off to on holiday?

I'm nearly finished inputting all my round on round partner now..200 customers i reckon

Got a headache now

Only Center Parcs mate. Will be nice to have a break before the busy couple of weeks before Xmas though. We've booked to take the kids to see Father Christmas and go horse riding and all that guff so they should enjoy it.

I really like Round Partner. I don't think I even use half of the features but the planner on the computer version is handy and I like having my days work on the phone version and ticking them off throughout the day. The payments section is handy too and helps keep track of who owes me what. Being able to add a customer on your phone is good too. If someone stops me as I'm working I just whip my phone out and add them there and then rather than scribbling it down on a scrap of paper.

Luckily i got Round Partner just as I was starting out so I've added all my customers as I've gone rather than in one hit.

Nearly there..only about 30 left to do

Been on the laptop also and the features are good

Plus i can instantly see how much i have per week and who hasn't paid etc on the home page

I'm finding it easier to input customers on my phone than laptop

The phone interface for adding customers is nice and simple. I'll let you know how I get on with that bird tomorrow morning. I'm already not looking forward to it. I think she's going to be a nightmare

I'll tell her to jog on if she becomes a pain. She was on the phone to me for eight minutes when she rang earlier. I don't think she's all there.

I didn't have a clue what I needed. Gardiners girl I phoned was great, sorted me out with everything I needed (backpack, pole, hose and fittings etc). I've had it for almost a couple of years now and it's been great. I still carry the thing around, backpack in one hand, pole in the other. Freind of mine just spent a lot of money on a Purefreedom trolley system, I haven't seen it yet so I don't know how much better it is for the extra £600 or so.

@Adams0211 stupid question but is there a way to set up round partner so it only reschedules your completed jobs for a weekday not weekends?

I'm not sure to be honest mate. I'm just heading off to bed but send me a message tomorrow and I'll have a look and see if I can figure it out.

All sorted now waiting on the postman. Got Backpack for £65 which if no good will use for my carpet cleaning/ weed spraying + pole/hose + fitting for £49. Job done.

Now see if I like it and then will TRY and get some work for it. /emoticons/smile.png Being 58 not sure I am to old but with my younger brother returning at the end of Jan from overseas I need help with my cleaning & gardening business anyway. So if I could get him or me a day or two on the glass it would help and be a change.

Thanks Paul

I know 2 guys with pure freedom trolleys

Both constantly suffer with air locks and tbh any of the home made ones on here are better

Paying about 500 quid for the name is a joke
