i do have an ider on the clamp not biting u could score the metel rings then the clamp would bite maby @Jonathan Sanderson how r u geting on with the extreme with the metel bands also have u had to replace any sections ect
It's inside the metal ring the iner part on the pole not outer side so scoring would not work

 
I clean my pole every day after work and I actually did have to send 3 parts back witch where replaced very quick section 3 that was replaced has gone again how can this be bad luck I don't think so but maybe you are right I reported theses metal rings spinning 3 months ago on section 3 and I am still waiting it took a month to get section 5 witch broke in two it's to long I use 3 days a week and clean after work don't get me wrong gardener have fixed but I have work to do I can't wait 3 months and yes it's a fantastic pole I would buy again but preferably without the metal rings it has made a massive difference to soreness in my shoulders the last time I sent pics they asked for more then more 3 lots to see if it was wear and tear I bought it to clean windows of coarse it will have wear and tear I personally feel it is a design falt maybe diferant glue is needed

I have looked up the last warranty claim details as given to us by your overseas distributor for your last warranty claim - This is the claim for a broken #5 section on the 7th of October.

With this Section No.5 that broke, we received notification of this from the retailer in your country on the 7th of October. I then asked the same day for some close up photos which is a standard request in all warranty cases. On the 8th of the October I received a video of the issue, I then, the same day, asked for some close up photos which I still needed in order to make a warranty decision. I received these photos on the 13th of October and the same day, as soon as I received them, I authorized a warranty replacement for you from your overseas distributor. In this case a decision was made within 1 hour of having received the needed information. I do not see how I could have sped this process up for you on our side.

Any other delays in the system and your warranty replacement really need to be taken up with your retailer locally in your country as everything that depended on us was done within hours on each occasion. As far as I am aware there are no other outstanding warranty issues regarding your pole - I know that Arthur has been poorly so if anything else is outstanding you would need perhaps to talk to Kim or someone else within the firm to see what the delay is.

As you can see from my post above we have dealt with everything that has been raised with us in a very quick manner. I think it is best now for you to email me your email address on [email protected] - this way we can copy in your distributor and try to get to the bottom of why there appears to be such a gap between what I have sorted and where you are.

Sorry I'm late on this reply @tench0771 lol.

I love my extreme. I have an 18 and a 25 but to be honest I use the 25 all day. It's so rigid and light, makes cleaning much more efficient being so accurate with the brush head.

I've had mine for nearly a year now and no replacement sections needed. In fact, when I wash them and ptfe them they don't even look worn at all.

These are the metal clamping banded ones though. I can't comment On The v3 yet as I havnt bought one.
