Have you got a push button start?

Nope, pull chord,

So I have to hold trigger in,

The only time it will start without the trigger held in, is when it's hot and not been turned off for a while

No easy start feature tap

When the machine is being used and you turn it off there will still be mega pressure at the trigger so careful where you point it when you pull the trigger to release because it goes with a real blast

It's almost impossible to start or pull the cord without releasing this

I've forgot a few times to start and nearly ripped my hand off of the pull cord

Water on? Are you running from a tank If your machine doesn't have a easy start feature then yes you will need to press the trigger same applies every time you start the machine because you won't be able to pull the cord lol
Do you turn the choke off as soon as the engine has started?

I always let the pressure out when I turn it off Evie, that then means I can (but it's hard) turn it on without holding the trigger in (only when it's hot though)

Defo much easier to start with trigger pulled in

Use it like a throttle till its warmed up Steve, slowly reduce it till it runs well with no choke - about 2 mins max in cold weather

Yep I usually half open choke.

Open easy start tap.

Pull cord fires it up

Switch choke straight off

Wait for air in suction/return pipe to fill with water

Turn easy start tap off

And blast away!!!!!

For hours!!!!!!

And hours!!!!!

Right, so its fill up wheelie bin, put in sucker hose, turn engine on, turn choke on, hold in trigger, pull cord, turn off choke. Anything I'm missing?

That's about right mate

You'll soon get knack off it after a couple times

Also don't just whack it on full power specially with turbo if doing Tarmac etc

I always try to get away with the least pressure possible

I have a big job Saturday with new pointing so I'll be steam cleaning that one with a lowish pressure

Good idea that
That's where I get my jake from a big farm I clean he always has it

But once had to nip to farming supplies they had loads in

It's he best thing I've used if used right

Also saves on expensive weed killers

I wouldn't know where to get it in my area, just a farm supply shop?
