My little lad is not sleeping as hes so exited so maybe this was not the best idea....

I told him "I think heard santa go past a few seconds ago". So he wanted me to leave the window and curtains open.

5 mins later, I stuck a small torch on the end of my optilock pole along with a load of bells. A quick rattle and swipe past the bedroom window and he's convinced he's seen the big man himself. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Hi @toslishapurd I've got a good trick for your little lad , still work for my girls (13and11) Mix porridge and glitter together and throw it on your path for him to see in the morning, his face will be a picture... Sorry if you know this trick already.. Have a good Xmas Nathan

I took my little ones outside at about 5.20pm as the international space station was overhead. I told them it was Father Christmas on his way to Russia :hehehe:

I heard about that last year, forgot all about it this time. We did the personalised vid from santa and that went down a storm.

Merry crimbo.

My presents consist of socks, pants, beer, chocolate, a calendar and shower gel and a mug.

Kids are laughing at my presents..

strange to think 20 odd years ago i would have been looking at my dads presents which were exactly the same thinking what a load of shite that`ll never be me.

Yep, big circle of life isn't it.

Its is indeed

whats more is on opening the socks the first thing that came to mind was "oh i could do with some more socks very practical gift" rather than slinging them to one side and going for the big present which had to be the main one

ah nostalgia

All the build up to christmas and the kids have everything opened in 5 minutes and within a week all the toys will be forgotten about gathering dust in the big pile they already have

My boy got me the usual socks etc but also for me the new muse album which i am impressed with

Used his imagination for once

Tried your trick tolish on my son this morning with the bells etc. I was also saying in a deep Santa ho ho ho voice, "Santa is here, come out of your room". He replied"pis$ off dad, I'm twenty"

got family staying at house and they have young boy

they travelled up yesterday the boy all excited to go out today on his new bike

its ******* down bouncing here he is not a happy chappy
