Not wishing to name drop, but...Tommy Cooper, Joe Brown (The Bruvvers), Muhammad Ali, most of the Man.Utd 1980's 1st team, Patrick McGoohan (Danger Man), Angie (David) Bowie, Paul Kossoff (Free), Keith Moon, Paddy Crerand, Gary Neville, Lawrie McNemeny, John Motson, Sven Goran Eriksson, Chris Blackwell (Island Records), Alexei Sayle and probably others. I have actually spoke to all of these and had drinks with some of them. I also had mates who worked for Ozzie Osborne (window cleaning - apparently, he was tight), and Ulrikakakaka Jonsson (gardening).

I used to go to a small workmans gym in hendon central just down the road from copthall stadium which is where the saracens ground is now

Used to see linford christie there now and then and john regis when they had a session before going to the track at copthall

He was my hero as a kid as i ran 100m for borough of barnet

Very nice bloke

Pedro I need to start knocking around with you, I think out of that list, Keith Moon and Alexi Sayle would be the guys Id like to see on a night out. Christie always comes across a nice guy.

Keith Moon was fun (and bought all the drinks), quiet, seemed almost shy, met him in Alice's Restaurant, Malibu, his mate/bodyguard (?) Dougal had a gun on him. Got some good photos (no digital cameras in those days). Alexei Sayle also fun (as you would expect), but only spoke briefly with him at Islands Records London where I washed cars.

Its funny how you can be at a random place and see these people, I think personally Id hate being famous

Weekly commercial customer of mine was best mates with Jimmy Saville - right up to his death - used to go off with him all the time and go on about it

Then it all came out and he stopped talking about Jimmy pretty quick
