Just gave it a go and was looking good then found you couldn't pick a 6 week cycle only 2 4 monthly etc bugger

Are there any free one or do they all charge? Is it not possible to use a spreadhsheet instead?
I heard there's software called George that quite good and its free.
I'm using GEORGE and if you're computer literate I would highly recommend that you get it. It's good and I wish I had had it earlier. I have just bought a load of work and my work load has gone up from 60 odd jobs per month to over 500 jobs per month so believe me when I say, the sooner you get it the better!!!

It's much easier to be adding jobs as they come along as opposed to adding the lot in one go. It's a ball-ache /emoticons/sad.png

I say "computer literate" because it's not the most intuitive program but once you begin to learn the way it works it's very good. I guess writing a program for this type of business is very difficult given the variables involved.

But honestly, INVEST in your business by getting yourself some software to help you manage it, it's well worth it and will pay for itself pretty quickly!!

Ok thanks. Duncs Is this just spreadsheets that you can access offline. I wouldn't know where to start setting up reoccurring jobs

but you can't access George from your mobile right? I think thats quite important as you need to update the database once you have done the job.

so apart from George which only charge you £50 one off, all other softwares are montly?
