My opinion was 100% constructive based on use and feed back. Very surprised at the defence of protruding clamps on a collapsible pole though as if the staff get injured you as the employer would be bang to rights as it is an unnecessary risk. Also one fluke resale des not quite reflect the true cost of that pole. Happy cleaning V.
3 fluke poles pal, ive since sold 2 used slx poles too and got over half theyre money back lol

i like to replace to keep things fresh, my poles make me a lot of money so replacing every year to kep fresh makes sense to me personally and when you get the return sale of a used pole its peanuts to freshen them up, theres not many other poles that hold theyre value like a Gardiner, everyone jokes about them going for more on ebay than Gardiner but its quite true!!!!!

i dont understand this dangerous sticking out clamps your talking about as me personally have never hurt myself on any of the poles, maybe theres loads of hidden cases of torn fingers lol tht we dont know about!!!!!

as Alex says thats your opinion, mine is Gardiner are by far still the best on the market and theres a reason theyre the most popular!ive never had any issues with the clamps myself and certainly never caught my hands on them, the smart clamps are spot on and ive barely had to adjust them.

i use the slx now but when i first started i bought the clx and used it over a year and if your looking for a cheap pole like the one you mentioned for comparablilty a clx 22 cost me about £130 if i remember rightly with the brush and hose that comes with it and a year later i sold it for £110 and it was still really good condition in fact im certain i'd still be using it now if i didnt upgrade.

using a pole for a year and losing £20 i would say is incredible pound for pound value, people forget that with Gardiner you get resale value in future if you decide to renew or upgrade, theres not many other poles that you can bang on ebay and get anything near half your money back!!!!
hi cheshire i think thats gd idea replace your poles every year and get top price

so your always using top gear gd idea

gardiner poles I totaly swear by them gd reliable poles which never let you down

i,m sure high percentage on here use them every day

what a jocky you are your employee as a great deal more risk or tripping over the hose then from the claims

im down your road tmoro Shazzy , at number8 ,guy want his con and house cleaned . did he ask you? bleve hes moving out wants it done to get deposit back. says roof of con is especially thick wi dirt

summat to look forward to!

might see u now Shar now thatd be nice ages since we spoke maybe 2 yrs altho we wave most days

my slx has bin spot on so far ive had it a year luv the smart clamps its just starting to look taty but still lots of life in the pole ive never had any issue with the clamps traping my fingers or any sharp bits catching my hands one thing ide like to c is rased ends insted of that stop tape @Alex Gardiner

Everyone is entitled to an opionion. But my experience is that Gardiners poles are great. Never had an issue with the clamps nor did I feel in danger from them.

Service is great and as I don't live far away I went and picked mine up in person. Great service no problem at all.

I have a SLX-35 and a SLX-18, both over a year old, both used daily. Apart from a slight problem on the 18 in the first few weeks, with the locking nuts not locking, they have both been fantastic pieces of kit and I fully intend to replace like for like when the time comes.

Alex replaced all the locking nuts without any issue, so for me Gardiners and their SLX range gets tops marks.

I use Ionics grafter 28, having to have a few inches at the top of a few sections nearer the brush head to stop the spinning:mad:

Had some abuse though (work wise)

about time i get myself a Gardiners me thinks.

seems everyone that uses them, have nothing but praise for them:)

Another great thing about gardiners - the name

It's a family business and you get the feeling Alex cares about every pole that goes out

I may even grow a little moustache in his honour

LOL you need some risk assessment training. The hose is essential and all that can be done to improve safety is make it a bright colour this is why they are normally yellow so all that can be done for the worker has been done.

A protruding clamps is not necessary and can be avoided leaving the employer/manufacturer wide open to a claim.

I can't see how they are dangerous
I think my point was it is an unnecessary risk that need not be there. But come on you cant tell me that the the clamp levers are better than on the Ntech stream line range.

I cant be doin with sellers attempting to defend there flawed goods, I learn from others when there methods or products are better so maybe you should get down off your high horse and do the same.
