Had a new van last year and thought about what system to use and put in it.

I'm happy at building my own as its a lot cheaper and you get what you need.

so last year I contacted Stephen at Aquaeous Plastic Fabrications with a design for a tank for my van.

I wanted to think outside the box and go for something totally different.

so I designed a flat tank measuring 1200mm x 2200mm x 220mm and to have a sloping floor towards the outlet.

Stephen did a great job and this has allowed me to still have the whole use of the floor of the van.

It drives so much better with having a very low centre of gravity.

So glad I went down this route.

the van is still a work in progress and there is still a lot that I still got to do with it, but will get there one day.

as you can see with some of the pictures there is plenty of room in there still. so much room that I can still get a full size bath in it and still able to go out working!

I contacted xline about a new system last week still awaiting a call back so after all the good press Steven gets I'm now going down that route

Sorry xline but no business is big enough to not even call back potential customers spending money

Stephen is great and is always in contact

I'm very surprised to hear that of xline, ive never had problems there, I rate them.

How much did the tank cost please always wanted to do this? Also whats it like in terms of flow from pump and when tank gets low etc

it was £330+vat for it. I fitted a non return valve to it so water dosent go back from the pumps. at times you have to park on a curb to make sure water gets there but I personally haven't found a problem with it yet

The heater m8 can I ask were the vent is for the fumes

I'm looking at installing one and looking for info

I spoke with SS yesterday for about an hour and there was a couple of reasons why he doesn't post on forums. I have managed to convince him to try this one though. He should be online soon.

there isn't a need for one if you work with doors open, if you have doors shut then you will need some form of venting installed.

for mine, I just pop open the side door a little and then fumes go out that.
