Death of the Defender is EU Racism! Time to get out of the EU!

Sod animals, we are top of the food chain so eat the furry f.ckersWhen I was in Estonia a couple of years back I had otter curry.

It was like madras, but only otter /emoticons/biggrin.png
Did you mean a chicken tarka??

Like a tikka but otter

Lol

The United States of Europe was always going to be nigh on impossible experiment. Too many differences between the member states e.g cultural, economic, even the language barrier has not been resolved!

The Euro is still on shaky ground, and the next financial crisis could well see it melt down altogether. I say the next financial crisis because the basic mechanism for our money supply to run is based on a debt culture, and this has not been resolved fully (over leveraged debt that lead to the 2008 financial crisis). Just look at the house price to earnings ratio in this country, how are the youngsters supposed to get on the property ladder?

I'm not a fan of Europe, but as a country we need to some big changes if we are to compete globally on our own. Global competition was once an argument the pro Euro mob gave us for UK being in EU club, I think we can safely say that argument has gone down the pan, so where does that leave us?

Will Cameron give us the in / out referendum as promised if you took a poll from my custys it would out Out OUT OUT!

Sorry I drifted a little off topic there.

I think mark thatcher funded a government cou somewhere in Africa. Allegedly!

The biggy with being in the eu is the trade agreement that allows tax relief when exporting goods.oh and the common agricultural policy. I'm off to trampoline world with the kids woohoo

Still more solid than the wimps we have now though. I'm with posh on this, she would of told Europe to pis$ off
she would of done what ever the tories wanted, the devastation she caused among northern industries and the communities she ruined seems all but forgotten by some now,

also she would of had the nhs fully privatised and owned by her cronies or even one of her scummy brats by now

Americans are very patriotic, I go to turkey quite regularly, extremely patriotic, I myself am a patriotic Englishman.

How many of you out there would say your a patriotic European?

As kahoona said, we are culturally different to most of Europe.

It use an analogy, its like putting a tiger in a cage with four lions, their all cats, but the tiger wouldn't last

Im talking about Europe simon, not thatchers history on other subjects

The sole Thatcher poin tis she would not have stood for this Euro shite, the tlmiddle east would be a propper war zone where our troops were allowed to do their jobs and shoot people and the camps at Calais would be told they can stay where the fukc they are.

i know its my problem i see her name & go into one, i very rarely talk politics face to face as i get too wound up.

europe !!! most big busnesses seem to want to stay in & as i live in an area heavily dependent on tourism i think we'd suffer , my heart says 'we are english, f--- everyone else cos we rule' but i'm pretty sure thats not the case any more & i hate to say this lol but if thatcher had worked with our big industries instead of destroying them we would be in a much stronger position now

yeh but your basing that on what she did in the falklands, eg 1 occasion

I take it your a Maggie hater lol

As I said I didn't agree with all she done but in her years I got married bought a house had 2 kids & run my own gardening business for 8 years so personally for me she was good.

What I'm saying is with her right or wrong she never stood down. What she said stood.

Not like the puppets now.

With the Falklands Cameron would either say let them have it or let Brussels decide. Unless it was full of non British.

Thatcher originally supported the idea of a European economic community

1975 she voted yes

1978 she supported it

Changed her mind when she saw how it was all going wrong in 1988

The original idea in the 70s was for trade, which is fine, not the rules and regulations that exist today

Let me just throw this into the discussion, who do you think really controls things, politicians? It seems to me we shouldn't under estimate the influence of those who sit at the top of the big financial institutions. Those who control money, control power! That's capitalism & the world we live in. Gordy Brown "chose" to let public spending get out of control and saved nothing for the enevitable rainy day. Cameron's lot still haven't got the counties national debt under control. But the root of these problems came from the financial world, and the abuse of the power it posses. So by all means give the politicians a good kick in but don't forget the master who pull their strings.
