Was wondering if I'm the only person on the forum who walks my round covering different areas week by week. Been walking about for five years now and was wondering if anyone else does. Or do you see walking window cleaners about your town/city etc

Still a few lads walking here my city (Newcastle)

Mainly the older guys

The old boy round this way has ladders stashed in several gardens around town

Walks and busses it everywhere and uses the neareat ladders to the job

That's kind of how I work Daveyboy. I bike to one of seven sets of ladders.

I did quite a bit of research into bike trailers and the like, must say that appeals to me. Exercise, no diesel etc. But, my round is too spread out around the city, though compact when I get there, I'd spend too long cycling.

I was only in Cambridge a few weeks ago. We took our girls to the Arts Theatre. We often go to gigs at the Junction and Corn Ex. Get some top class bands, comic's etc about. I often look at all the Bicycles about and think... That would work lol. The place is amazing for bikes. Makes me laugh how some of them are just left hanging anywhere. I even went past a EBike Shop.. I used a trailer for a while. But. it adds to the weight etc. Biking to the dotted ladders is easier. Although, i really struggle with the odd house here and there. Especially in the winter... I often think of going for more bungalows and dropping the odd hard to get to houses. But. they have been loyal customers and l don't like to say no. Frustrations lol

Iv seen this one guy has a wee cart with his ladders on it , it's like a big wheel Barrow with bmx wheels on it lol

My son who's 4 has been watching Wallace and gromit every night for the past 2 weeks , he thinks I clean the windows the way they do lol

It's a nice city centre, bikes are a pain in the **** though haha. Where abouts do you live then?

Is that cambridge Tolish? Bloody cyclists are a pain there. Took my HGV test there back in the late 80s. Spent 90% of my test on the ring road doing 10mph while some **** with a basket on their handle bars wobbled along

I'm in Mildenhall.. About half hour north of Cambridge. You may remember the U. S Airshows we once had.. Other than that. Just a small market town. But. locals have always used Bury St. Eds, Newmarket and Cambridge and Norwich alot as we sit on the A11....

@Beccy is the girl to talk to about trailers. She has an awsome bike setup
Cheers Pro.. Would like to hear from her regarding her set up. I've tried various ways. But. am always trying to find a simple, effective way of getting about...

What about a telescopic ladder for the odd out the way job?
I have one of them. Although, I don't like using it. It bounces about like a bouncy castle lol. Also tried sectional and combi ladders. But. nothing compares to extension... Could do with some of them jet boot things they used in back to the future lol...

I've spoke to him on here a few times. Have not bumped into him as yet.
