I'm currently running 2 reels of the 1 pump and controller and Di bottle, is it possible to run 2 pumps and 2 controllers off 1 Di bottle??

If you process water from an r/o into a holding tank, then put the di after the r/o. Pure water from tank to van tank means that you don't need the di on the van as the water in your tank will be pure.

no if u put the di before the tank then after the tank put in a split to two pumps then reels this way the water in the tank is 000ppm as the water is going through the di first

I use 250litre tank and have to fill it up while working, I fill up through a ball **** at the top so is it just a case of having the out go into my ballcock connection and anytime I want to fill up just connect to my IN on the Di

The biggest problem that I can see is that the faster water flows through a DI tank, the less chance there is of you getting Pure out the other end i.e running 3l per min through a DI will give you pure. Trying to run 12l a min thorugh the DI won't give you pure as it is going through too fast to be purified.

So, have a go and make sure that you still get pure at the brushes. Oh, and when you test this remember - your extension reel is currently full of pure which has previosly gone through your DI, so you need to run thourgh all of that with both pumps running before checing your TDS to give you an accurate reading.

BTW, you will get better value from your Resin is you have 2 x DI tanks in line. So, when your TDS goes up, you take the tank nearest to the tap water and change the resin in that one, move the other DI closest to the tap water and your newly filled tank goes second. You do that each time the TDS goes up and you will get much better value out of your resin than using just one DI tank to process your pure.

if not sure of ur ppm cause of water inline in hose take the hose of the side of reel and test it there that be true ppm coming from di as it dont take much to flush a short lne of hose from di to reel

Iv heard that 2 Di inline actually is worse ,can't remember why, but the guys who did do it used to do it and then stopped

If you are filling quickly during the day and your current purifying method is working for you, then I would add another di for the other reel - so you will have 2 di's, one for each reel.

That's a bit made up tbh mate. I used to run my outside tap full whack thru d.I onto my van and it defiantly come out 0 tds. I'm not sure if there's a limit how much flow u can put thru d.I but I don't think us winds have anything fast enough to cause issue. Plus there will be a limit how much flow you can. Get thru due to Suze of inlet/outlet

If I'm getting them mate I think they come under free delivery anyway do they not ? Il need a pump and controller as well, is he as cheap as anywhere else mate?

No, that's from experience. My reading up on ion exchange resins since then has confirmed my experience.

If it worked for you - great. Maybe your using a bigger DI tank than my 11L ones. Then the water will have longer contact with the resin.
