Does anyone take their kid to work with them during the school holidays?

My wife hates her job doing braille at school

She also does my mates admin for his plumbing firm

My son said to her "don't worry soon you'll be able to give it up and just do mine, dad's and Jamies admin for your only job" lol

Gotta love em

He's been coming with me every week since I started window cleaning when he was 10 months old

He didn't always pay attention in the early days though

He's 3 now and talks about window cleaning to anyone who will listen!

That's the most impressive setup I have seen on the forum - honestly - wow ! I presume you don't take him out too many days a week or in bad weather , or drop at nursery etc

Anyway really well done Beccy

It definitely is a cool setup

I would do that if i wasn't so bloody lazy

Perfect for the distance i travel

Rugby is enough fitness for me nowadays

Gave up the martial arts again due to time constraints so need some excercise

When I started out he came with me all the time while I got money coming in, gradually then started introducing him to a child minder as the round got bigger and bigger.

He's at nursery 15 hours a week now so I get most of my work done while he's there, but there's no childcare available in this area at weekends and I have a substantial round of shops that can only be done on Sundays, so he comes with me every week for that. /emoticons/smile.png

Today was my youngests sons turn. I've got my eldest boy out with me tomorrow.

i take my lad hes 15 and well over 6 foot and built well he throws the pole about now like a pro he been at it a year on and off he mostly does the tops

That's like my 15 year old

6'3" size 12 feet and plays number 8 for rugby team

He has no hassle with wfp or carrying ladders

He used to carry my 12 rung triples no bother

Is this something you bought or put together?

You should open a thread in the diy fourm and tell us how you did it.

Took my nine year old girl out for a full day once. She enjoyed it but was shattered towards the end of the day.........and so was I cause I had to check over everything and was constantly on edge that she was going to break something. I enjoy working alone.......I was reminded of that when she came to 'help' for the day.......bless her.

She says she wants to be a window cleaner when she grows up but I've vowed not to interfere with any of my children's career aspirations - just try to listen & only help when asked to. My dad was 'pushy' and I hated it......

I took my little ladies daughter with me for a day last summer. She's 15 and tbh I like being on my own. Anyway she kept on about it so eventually I let her 'help me' for the day. Cost me £25 in wages and only took an hour longer than it usually did on my own!

I have my brother with me on the odd day, hes 23 (closet to a kid i get) but he cannot handle a squeegee at my standards he is degraded from squeegee holder to ladder footer, and flyer distributor. I really like being on my own also the reason i started my business, i am a Lone wolf.

After having my youngest daughter (5) out with me Wednesday and my youngest son (6) out with me on Thursday, today was my eldest son's (10) turn. He enjoyed himself and really got stuck in. My eldest daughter (13) rolled her eyes at me and told me to "jog on" when I asked her if she fancied a turn [emoji23]
