I've literally lost count of the number of times I've cleaned **** off my shoes this week. Not just my shoes though. The wheels of my trolley, my hose, the back of my van, the floor mats in my van, my hands. The list goes on.

It's not just customers gardens. It's paths, grass verges, communal grassy areas outside people's houses.

What the hell is wrong with people. It's disgusting.

I had enough at one house earlier, downed tools and ****** off part way through the job. I've sent her a message but she's not replied.

Most of my customers are pretty good at picking it up and, now I have a bit more confidence, I'm telling new customers that they need to clean it up before I start work.

Anyway, rant over.

Anyone else had any (animal) poo-related problems this week?

Edited to include the text I sent the customer. She's one of my wife's clients so I was perhaps a bit less stern than I might normally have been.

yes this morning was dodging in between about 8 piles of dog s**t but it was a house where i trad the back so no hose to get s**t up thank god its brand new last week

I had an incident been cleaning the place for a year and never had issues with it before. As long as it's a one off then I let it go......but zero tolerance for gardens full of it. I do have a box of those plastic shoe covers in the van just in case......./emoticons/smile.png

I'm a pretty chilled fella but dog **** is one thing that I will not tolerate. I feel for you Neil, unlucky week by the sounds of it. Hopefully next week with be **** free for you. Your txt was well worded by they way.

They have a dog - I double me price. I also do lawn cutting and i will not even quote if I hear a dog bark /emoticons/smile.png

Hate it BIG TIME.

Cheers. I popped home and cleaned up and then replied once I'd calmed down a bit. I got my mrs to check it before I sent it. The rest of the day was ok after that. I took my youngest son out with me for an hour or so which was fun.

One of my houses has new people move in. They took me on but they have a dog that poops everywhere including the gravel drive , bugger me it's hard to see :specs. Last time I was there I was cleaning away and tip toeing past the :turd:, she came out and asked if I was ok. I said yeah I'm ok but I'm trying to dodge this :turd:. She promised that it would all be cleared up next time. We'll wait and see, if it's not cleared up she's dumped.

Ha ha. I've been watching Harry Potter with the kids this afternoon. I hope you made him clean it up.

He bleached the hell out of everything. He did a gutter job and i offered gloves to him, he said no. Then he remembered he wanted his crisps afterwards lol.

Yeah dave wasn't in my best books that day i can tell theee. Stunk the van out. We had hit target for the day so was tempted to say walk home lol

Only thing worse than dog poo is cat poo.......smaller, less visible, smells more.......parp........:turd:
I've said this on another thread, but the worst shite kit the lot is chicken I.m.o. I've got a customer who lets em run around her garden, and when I get in my van afterwards, OMG the smell. I almost dream with passion for the smell of cat or dog shat.

On the plus side, she does give me eggs

A bit of bleach spray and blast it out my sole with brush jet and it was fine

Bleedin wuss:laugh:

Must be a nightmare dragging hoses around it. Not so difficult with a ladder, but then it hits you hard when it does happen as you only find out when you're on your way back down..
