Foot the ladder

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I had a problem with getting in touch with them as when I bought mine. Far as I know they are bust or not trading any more but other people selling them

not sayin its the case with foot the ladder but a lot of gizmos go under after a big lawsuit when someone gets hurt. i read somewhere that was the case with rojak ladder stopper i bleve its forbidden to sell that into the States.

LADDER ACCESSORIES by Ladders999 for safety and convenience with any ladder - Lansford Access Ltd
Has anyone got any experience with any of the ladder supports off this page if so what one and why did you choose it. I now work in my own after my helper lad decided to get another job and need to be sure the ladder isn't going to f&@k off when I'm at the top.
on that page are rubber replacement feet and rubber laddermats . DONT BUY EITHER! i tell u for why ,i had a fall in 2010 after my laddermats let go one morning and i fell the full drop. lucky to survive i then started looking into what was the fault.after doin online research i discovered rubber should never be used outdoors as a grip aid if the ground is dusty or damp.which is a lot of the time . i actually contacted the maker of these products,by a coincidence he lives in my home town! told him i near broke my legs - he tried to buy my silence -turns out he already knew of the risks -but then went onto promote his items worldwide and now i bleve his rubber safety items are sold in the States too.

my opinion ,he needs a fookin good kickin, cos hes playing wi innocents lives all cos he craves the money.David Farnworth is his name and hes an ex window cleaner

if i was going to use that^ id replace those rubber feet on it with hard plastic ,for the reason i stated above . this is the very reason ladder feet are always hard plastic and not rubber

I'll be using this as extra underwear protection alongside my ladder spikes for when I'm working around the roofline or on wet decking and the like. I think it will be fine with the rubber on there for my needs but I understand your reasoning.

Thanks for that link , wheelie clean . Gunna get one ordered . They look the best out of all the ladder supports .
Did you order one of these Elliot? I did, ordered direct from John at Medworthy. Was told 4-6 working days for delivery. 2 weeks later and no device? I tried calling, text message and email and no response. Eventually I got someone else to text and he got a response to say he was dealing with it. Still no communication in my direction so I asked for a refund. Got a response saying it would be dealt with so I bought one of these Ladder M8rix Industrial Anti-Slip Safety Device Stopper Outdoor | Roofing Superstore® off a guy on Facebook for £20 plus delivery.

Both arrived yesterday! Now the bloke from Medworthy won't answer calls, texts or emails again but answers to new customer enquiries. No wonder shops pulled the plug on foot the ladder if customer service is like that!

Can't imagine trying to return a faulty one........

would not surprise me if some poor soul has fell and has put in a claim thats got the company in sh/tstreet

No I didn't order one . I was gunna get one but then I saw the ladder m8trix . A mate was selling one at £ 35 . So I got that . I've inly used it once and feels good . But if I am really unsure I get The lad to foot it .

Well I've got both now, maybe I should do a side by side comparison video? Then again I don't want to give that John Medhurst any more business given how he's been with me.

OK, I will. I used the m8rix today on wet decking, planks laid long ways and it never moved. I used it again on mossy concrete and again solid. Have yet to try the foot the ladder.

Would like to see a side by side video and your opinion on which you think is best.

Yhanks
