Actually - just thought you wouldn't need the machine for the full time period (e.g when your doing insides) so maybe just hire it for a week

I would defo swerve that one . I think it would start to send you mad 2 days in . You will smash loads of panes . The outsides will be awkward and and mimging . And the insides you will be sweating like a dog in a Chinese takeaway . I would maybe spend an hour trial in and out . It will give you an idea . And if you don't fancy it you've only lost an hours labour .

You'te quote has no scientific basis @Damo it wiuld be more like £2392.54p /emoticons/tongue.png
On a serious note my first out of school in the last century was apprentice glazer where we used to cut glass by hand. That was my primary task in the workshop all day cutting to order. The quality of glass in those is the cheapest you will ever see and it's only 2mm thick.

All you have to do is look at greenhouse glass and it breaks.

This is a job you will have to excise serious caution on.

Good luck.
Id get two lads insured. Glass damage waiver and say CLEAN that. Come back in 4 months later and see how they got on /emoticons/biggrin.png

I would get couple of 100 l barrels filled with water and an algae destroyer

Drop in a hose plugged to a pump and soak the buggers innit

Then give em a karcher window vac tell em to do inside themselves

id def take it on though because they are not going to expect perfection after 30 years

That could be THE before / after shot of all time

TBH they don't need to be spot free as in no mineral spots from non pure water, they are not house windows, they just need all the green and shite off them.

How about a 'soft wash'? - wet them down, apply a Ubix or Virosol solution, light agitation and rinse.

The biggest risk for you is going to be breaking the glass as it is paper thin.

Know about greenhouses and there glass U be lucky to w f p The inside due to pressure being put on glass. Overhead will likely break

Any garden centre or nursery worth there salt Should be packed out with summer bedding plants or annual plants for gettin read or sale in April

I would be iffy on this. As there are specialist companies hired to clean greenhouses look them up

Would this company perhaps be leadin u down the Path and be lookin for u to replace a load of glass .

You think they would just get staff to spray it with crop spraying gear - does seem strange asking a window cleaner

Yes Peter - they could be leading him down the garden centre path

There in the grounds of a large house that was bought 18 months ago, he's just finished sorting the house and starting on the grounds. I'd already done a bit of research before I went to have a look.

i thought of you as i passed a big greenhouse complex today.i glanced over ,yes its green, looked swiftly away and sped up a tad
