Thoughts on razer red I've heard good and bad things what's everyone's thoughts as got get some more rubber don't no weather to try it

Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums mobile app

I've had no trouble with it lasts forever, only using Unger soft atm because I got loads free from a mate, when that runs out I'll be ordering some more

Expensive but well worth it

1 piece lasts a long long long long time compared to normal rubber

It is silicone rather than natural rubber like the others

Glides better than anything else

Slightly longer front to back so will behave a little differently in modded s channels but a better fit than unger in an ettore channel, wagtail or liquidator

i think there dung i may of had a bad batch tho but ill never get them again ettore soft or unger hard is my prefrence

I use it, like Davey says it lasts ages. I find it difficult to cut to size accurately though.
I never cut to size in the channel

I lay the channel next to the rubber and use a scraper blade to cut exactly the right length

Doing it in the channel seems very inaccurate also it can stretch while pulling it in the channel then shrink back gradually once you have cut it leaving it too short

when i cut with scissors i was always not getting a straight line but curved out slightest bit on top working edge. This happened starting cut from blade edge or other side

Used it since day one and can't fault it. But that doesn't mean anything as line I said used it since day one so don't know any better haha. I like it, glides well with GG4 and lasts a long time. Make sure you don't cut it to length in the channel though.

I love razor red would never go back to unger

I actually don't think it glides as well as unger soft till it's been used for a few hour or soaked in hot water

But one thing for sure it lasts for what seems a eternity

Doesn't line as easy either

A year ago red razr rocked wss my go to rubber, but the quality has dropped below acceptable, lines from a new rubber in the middle and looks like its dragged over a concrete floor. I gone back to my faithfull ettore and sorbo, never razr again. Had some left over black diamond and its does the job too once broken in.

thats what my second batch did @Jacob left lines in the middle in fact i chucked over half away cos they wernt up to speck i dont think u can beat ettore thats maby y there so expencive ive never tryed sorbo i may get some

Sorbo rubber (original) and thier widebody channels is very good, speeds my jobs up use a 18" for domestic and the wear on my shoulder is less, really recommend if you want to shift water from the pane quickly without going quikly, hope it .made senes

I used to use just unger soft but it is slightly too short back to front for liquidators to work properly also a better size for my ettore modded channels
