Hello.

I have just started my window cleaning business.

And I got a job to wash windows of -15 Celsius,

So I read that you can use windshield fluid , but it was not good. I had quite a lot in the bucket. Becuse it was freezing first. But still keep freezing.

How do you guys do? And how much do you use?

I saw someone had the windshield fluid it on a spray bottle and spray it on the mop, maybe thats a better idea.

Johan

Hi Mark

The house was empty and the new owner was gonna move in the next day, so it has to be done.

I was struggle to it and the new owner has now moved in, never heard a complain. But i wasnt happy with the result, just wanna have some advise if im gonna do it again in -15. /emoticons/wink.png

Ok mate. That's fair. I don't know of anything to add to the water that would stop it freezing and not smear. Be interesting to see if there is anything tho.

Yes , Stockholm is great. I live about 15 miles north of Stockholm. So if you used to live here, you know how cold it could be:)

You can't do what you can't do.

More people from Sweden on this forum. Soon we can start a forum on our own. Välkommen!

I use "t-röd" in my water, I guess Johan know what it is. Don't know what it is called in English. Normally I stay home when the temperature is under - 10 degrees. If it's really cold you don't need to add much water to the spirit. Just use the solution as it is, it cleans pretty well!

Hej Mendy , tack så mycket!

Dont know what the english word is either, but heard lot of people use it.

i guess you r right, under -10 its better to stay out of it. But you know, i just tried to be service minded;)

I was going to say the same lol The old wifes tale is alcohol freezes at a different temp.but at £15 a bottle you want to add a splash not half a bottle lol
