Used mine today with yellow Gardiners hose as I cant stand stiffer pole hose (aqua dapter hose). No problems at all
PU hose takes getting used to. I hated it at first. I know its a faff, but once boiled, layed out flat and cooled before recoiling its pretty good hose. Get better flow due to the 5.5mm ID over the 5mm of pvc hose. I find it requires more management to keep it flat on the floor but once I mastered it, it works for me.

I boiled my Gardiner pole hose yesterday. Curled it up and put it in the sink and poured a couple of kettles of water over it. Left it for five mins and then straightened it out and all the kinks have gone.

Put mine in a large wok with glass cover. Boiled it for a few minutes till it was nice an soft and took the whole lot out in the car park at the rear of my house, layed it out on the floor. I'm sure the neighbors think I'm a bit barmy :rofl:. Make sure you do it when it's new and not when you've used it or your other half will not be pleased

Can you fit this to normal gardiner pole hose? So sick of wasting water looking for the tap
As others have said - pro green uses standard hose with his, it's just a bit stretchy that's all. I wouldn't use it with hot water as the yellow gets extremely soft - with the slightest bend or kink and the flow shuts off. Fitted mine last night - such a simple idea yet bloody brilliant. Can't wait to use them on a full day!
