Only part I hate about this job is the multiple small payments, and small debts. But at the same time it is good as if you lose a customer/contract the you don't notice it.

I could never have a ' proper' job tho'. I eat when I wanna eat. Stop and start when I want to. Brilliant job. U still got your man flu tolish??

Just left with a chesty cough and a bit of snot now mate so it's on its way out thanks. Back at it tomorrow no matter what. So far behind now I'm expecting to lose a customer or two lol.

You won't lose any mate. Just tell em you've been ill. Right I better get back out. 9 or 10 bungalows in my own village to do
Lucky you mate, I love the bungalows, only have a few though. Have a good one.

Happy nothing has changed that ive noticed the last 2-3 years in my area .. Just a bunch of "old thinkers " tradding big houses . But im not gonna tell Them to go wfp ! ... Let Them die Out and ill eat their carcases .... /emoticons/biggrin.png:D
I love tadding but then ive never tryed wfp i started in 2008 and never looked back

I love tradding but wfp is easier and quicker

I do love trad though and do it at least once a day

Remember we were all 'Newbies' once (except @daveyboy who was born with 250 years experience) /emoticons/tongue.png

For me it was 2007 and WFP wasnt even taken seriously by window cleaners. I only switched to WFP full time 18 months back.

This game will not be won or lost based on how many window cleaners there are in a town. It will be won by those that are professional, reliable and do the job right each amd every time. It will be won by those that realise the marketing is every bit as essential as the cleaning.

I see a newbie I just say 'hi, nice van and gear, call me when you decide to quit and sell up' as I hand them a business card.

That's got to mess with their melons even if just for the day. /emoticons/smile.png)

At what point do you stop being a newbie, the wife wants to know as she has promised to buy me a curry when I graduate up the ladder (no pun intended).

Your not a newbie anymore when been through a winter, the winter seperate boys from men.
Not here Jacob, here I reckon it should be 5 winter as mostly our winters are wet and a bit breezy we only get about one real harsh one every 5 to six years, so I say old school apprenticeship, 5 years before you qualify! /emoticons/tongue.png/emoticons/smile.png)

I've done two winters now although I was only part time during the winter of 2014/2015.

I've been lucky as both have been mild.
