Brodex or pure freedom

Hello this is my first post on this forum. I am in the process of setting up a water fed pole window cleaning business. I have done some research into the system I will be getting and it has come down to a straight choice between Brodex and pure freedom. Brodex are a little more expensive but claim to have the best aftercare in the industry, my dad uses pure freedom and has not had any problems in 3 years. I was hoping those who use these systems could point me in the right direction and help me decide which is better for me.

Thanks in advance

Forgive me but if you've done some research you've not done enough on Brodex.

They're customer service is hiss poor with overpriced parts.

Pure freedom all the way, especially if your dad has had no problems with them

Tony,

Thanks mate. I'm only really going on what they have told me. There after care was the main appeal to be honest a promise of 2 services a year for the life of the system. If you say it's not as good as they portray then I'll probably stick with pure freedom. Cheers

If your on ciu use the search there, you will struggle to find a good word about them. I haven't looked on this forum.

Welcome /emoticons/smile.png

I got everything from pure freedom when I first set up 3 years ago and everything is still going strong.

take your time mate, there are a few good system suppliers about now, but brodex isn't one of them. look at stephen scargill at Aquaeous Plastic Fabrications he seems very popular at the moment

Have you looked at Varitech? When I first started w.f.p, they came to my house and set it up in my garage (I use an I.b.c tank). They aren't the cheapest, but their after care has been second to none. Ask for mike

There is nothing wrong with Brodex systems, just their business practice. I have a Brodex system but bought it second hand so never relied on their service.

They are in liquidation once again arent they?

They buy parts from a large supplier I know and they make Brodex pay upfront as their credit is that poor.

Pure freedom all the way. My smaller van has a pf trolley and the lads swear by it. It seems a solid bit of kit with good reliability. Customer service is bang on, even a couple of years later.

I doubt any company would say anything different even if they had the worst after sales service in the industry.

I wouldn't have an issue buying a good second hand Brodex system (not a 250 liter system as its too small and has other issues - refer Doug Atkinson's advice) but I would never, never buy from that company again ever.

It depends on your budget and what you want.

D.i.y will be cheaper but it's not for me.

I have a grippa system.

Give them a call they have nationwide fitting are crash tested and there backed by gardiners meaning there customer service is top class.

I just love the thought of Diy . If the system bails out , I can fix it on site ,cos I have all common spare parts in my toolbox. And I know exactly how it's put together. I know a couple of guys that have bought complete systems, and every time there's Trouble they have to consult their supplier ,wasting lot of time and money . ( 90) pounds an hour he charges. I think it's totally rediculous.

I think most of you chaps can fix your gear if it breaks down , but these guys won't even look in to the matter and its really sad..
