moerman combinator review

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I am gonna order 1 this weekend so i will give it a test on a pole

Tbh you need a swivel squeegee to work well on a pole

Especially at 3+ metres

The clamp split in 2I think i created a weak point by heating the channel clamp with heat gun and squashing to grip the liquidator channel better whereas @Eric Gilliand does it by inserting velcro in the gap to close it a bit instead i believe which i should have done
Heating and straightening the handle doesn't seem to weaken the plastic at all but the disc is made of a different type of plastic and if you're going to use a heat gun on it its got to be heated very slowly. I stuffed one of mine also. The packing works just as well and is non destructive.

Has this tool made much difference to the time you spend on the job? Are you finishing a bit quicker ?

Without a shadow of a doubt faster. I would say it knocks off a good 5 mins per house on average which is a lot over the course of a full day.

Good videos and good tips to improve the tool, love the idea of the one pass.
Have you tried it on a pole, or is it mainly a hand tool?
No, i only use wfp i never use trad on a pole, i feel its specifically for hand work espon cially one passing, but if u put the washer in the other side then u have a pole tool, u can scrub the glass then flip over to squeegee like a vic versa/ettore backflip, but as other mention,mi think a wagtail swivel handle is the best for poling at any height

Ive got a wagtail so im gonna see about sort ing a pole tool out with the combinator elements and wagtail handle

Just bought a combinator today from window cleaning stuff shop this morning, n couple of moerman applicators, really like them.

thought I'd take today off as snow forecasted, raining now.

I think i was the first to make a wag/liquidator combo

Certainly the first to show it

Maybe Eric did it the same time i can't remember

I just can't help playing with things and tinkering

Paul so glad you did the modification and review on the combinator urged me to buy one and now my favourite squeegee.

Just cut the applicator down completely different tool now I have the 10" even though Im new to window cleaning this is the first time I'm getting zero detailing most of the time even on my thin window seal the only thing I didn't do was cut down the sleeve though I would give it a try without cutting it down and it works perfectly on the 10" im so impressed that I'm going to order a 14" today.

Well done Paul defo made easier.

Den.

Done the same with the 14" trimmed the bar but not the sleeve works a treat just like the 10" great squeegee.
