Hi guys.

How often do you wash your applicator in the washing machine? Or do you ever wash it? I wash my often, cuz i dont like to come to a job with dirty stuff.

Depends how dirty it is.

First cleans always filth it up so I'll wash it then, but since the windows I'm cleaning are already pretty clean now, I can get away with a quick rinse when I get home.

My cloths though; the only time I put diety cloths in the washing machine the woman went ape sh%# at me, so I've been forbidden from washing - get this right: forbidden from washing dirty things in the godamn washing machine!! You believe that?

I'm sure she's got a mental illness that woman.

Anyway I've become good enough at hand-washing to do cloths and applicator sleeve all in one go in about the same time it takes to run a load anyhow.

Its sounds the same here, especially with the sill cloths. But i wash it anyway, when im alone.

Yeah that's what got me banned the one and only time I threw em in the machine.

The cloths were ink-black when they went in, and the washing machine had a film of grey coating the inside afterwards /emoticons/smile.png

Still though, washing only clean things in a washing machine defeats the purpose of using the ****ing thing.

My new pole will arrive today.

After those immigrant window cleaners humiliated me by having an ettore, something had to be done and has.

Only 3.6 meters but that's alright; the cheap stick I got now only extends to 2.1 so it's still an upgrade.

somewhere i saw a vid of Herman washing one using a pressure washer-it was incredible how much dirt came out- im sure washing machines dont get them totally cleaned by comparison

Long as it's blue, ask I care about removing really is sand/grit that'll wear at my rubber faster.

Since any soap take care of any oily leavings.

"I ain't IN'TRESTED in the Butchers leavins'"

I wash my cloths when i eventually run out and usually chuck the applicator in also

I have about 40 small microfibres that are sill cloths and for frames etc and a few 60x80cm wilkos glass microfibres and 3 1mx1m thicker ones

1 of them lasts a day at least

So only wash the lot every couple of weeks tops

I'm like Daveyboy. Only use one scrim or micro a day. They go in the machine about every 3 weeks along with me applicator sleeves. However if I find a half decent hosepipe at someone's house then I lean me applicator against the wall and give it a blast. Comes up like new.

I go through a lot of cloths these days, so when the build up a bit they all go in the wash along with the applicators. I seem to be sticking a wash on every 3 days.

Yea sometimes I blast mine with a hose , nothing worse than getting fresh water and after a real dirty house putting it in the bucket for the water to go pure brown lol

I use a lot of cloths and i Got a lot . About 1 at every house . Actually Always a sill and a detail one . The sills Always last longer .

Aplicator wash is hardly ever . Maybe every 3 months .

1 detailing cloth at each house!!
Some houses i don't even use mine at all
I have these houses too , but i just Always use one at each . Maybe its the diff kind of houses over here , i dont know . On shopfronts i hardly ever use 1 .
