Paint spotting all over...

I just went to look at a 5 bed detached house, and while the customer was away they had a firm in to spray paint the roof tiles, and clearly didn't give a damn where else they sprayed!! They're suing the firm.

Anyway, this fine red terracotta spray paint is all over the 'lead' windows!!!

Any idea's on:

1. How to remove the stuff off leads, rather than scraping each and every diamond cut glass which will take me forever??

2. How much?? 5-Bed Detached - Uxbridge, Greater London.

Cheers in advance.

I'd a massive house to do and there was brick sealer all over the windows before, was a nightmare to get off even with scraper

Magic sponges take paint off glass quite easily
They don't shift fence paint off glass, have a custy that bought one of those silly sprayers to do her fence quickly and got it all over her conny windows, each time I go I try something but nothing is budging it so far, even had a string solven on a small test patch and no joy. Hate rubbing my WFP brush over it feels minging.

God knows on price, but if they are suing them have a chat and explain its a big job, if they won't end up paying for it bump the price high

That's a job for soapy applicator and sharp scraper blades

Maybe I will give her a price to sort it, no way going to that hassle for a regular £12 clean, shes a late payer too so not that fussed, just bugs me when I'm cleaning the glass units with it on as it looks and feels ****.

Oh hell no. If you are doing a dmage repair clean like that then an easy £40 per hour and you can expect to be at least 30 minutes per frame. If shes a good late payer I say 50% up front.

I've got quite a few with quite bad paint spots...I offer to do one window every clean for a reasonable premium...customers don't appear to be too bothered as none have taken up my generous offer.

Thanks a lot guys...I really think this is gonna be a scraper job. This isn't ordinary paint spots, but rough heavy duty sh*t.

I have already quoted £150 but I'm just wondering if I'm stinging myself - I just have no idea how long it's gonna take me, and I just hate that feeling of under-quoting. Either way, it's gonna be a very tedious job. Brain damage. But I could always treat it as a meditation, and zone out with positive vibes :)

Cheers mate. I told her £40ph for however long it takes me, and she's agreed. (y) Thanks for the advice, mate.
