Sometime i spray the ubik on the wfp brush to get stubborn dirts off for high windows and frames and for 1st clean jobs which got me thinking.

Is it possible to fit a lance spary at the end of the harris pole and fit a trigger handle at the bottom of the harris pole for spraying ubik at high windows rather than spraying onto the wfp brush.

Sorry Dave i forgot about that

No cc either

He uses a pump up sprayer with the lance attached to the end

The tap is at the top so when it is put back in the van it doesn't leak everywhere

If it was me i would have a tap at both ends so it is always sealed and full when not in use so no need to pump a load through the hose before you can use it

I attached tubeing to a old pole and a pump up sprayer. Now use a trolley for spraying. If you fitted a connector to pump up sprayer could you not connect water fed pole directly to sprayer. Never thought to try that before.

Another thought if jets to big to build up pressure maybe use 1mm tig welding tips I was looking to try small jets a while ago cheap as chips on eBay.

SPCB UK Ltd

there was a old thread on this a bit ago as it was asked before, there only about 50/60 quid and are just the job for our requirements, can't see the point in messing about making something for not much less, just buy one of them, job done. One thing to be careful of is don't make the ubik strength too high as it can straighten the coiled tubing, aslong as you use it around 20/30% it's fine, and you don't need it stronger anyway.

I still spray my brush on most first cleans as find it just as fast, but for g/s/f cleans and connies the lance comes into its own, spray up a whole length of fascia after wetting it down and just clean away, much faster.

Just had a look and can't see them on the website now, they have always done them, so prob best to call them up, ask for the 5.4 metre telescopic sprayer.

Harris pole. 20Coiled air line 4

Jubilee clips and cable ties 1

Big enough saving and it's not rocket science
With that list of parts you wont make a workable sprayer thats anywhere near as good as what you can buy for £50.

Fair enough when you can DIY something and saves loads that does a decent enough job, but for £50 minus the parts you need to make your own effort, you might as well just buy a proper one /emoticons/wink.png

So everyone else who has made one they don't work ? I do over 30 new cleans a week that get ubik on the window frames etc and works fine made it of the one I saw Richard Hyde make. Doesn't need to be flash just needs to work right
