Found these in b&q

Will hold lots of weight so used them to make a temporary pole holder

3 quid each isn't bad and great for hanging hose and cables etc

Yeh could be handy in the van . Could do with a sort out mines a tip .

They have a load hanging up in my local b&q where all the ratchet straps and bungees etc are

I have the smaller size that holds 100lb

They have some about a 3rd bigger that take 145lb i think for the same price

3 quid each i am thinking of getting some more to screw into the boot lining to hold squeegees etc

You could squeeze 2 poles in the bigger ones

I didn't want to start drilling them into the roof bars until i have tried them for a bit so i have just used 2 cable ties on each

1 goes through the metal eye and round the roof bar

The other goes round the bar and strap

I just got a rush of blood and decided to give the back of the van a tidy after seeing them straps . Opened the doors and thought Nah . But the thing is , a lot of ocd van owners would look in mine and think it's a tip . But I can lay my hands on owt straight away .and there's nowt I don't have ,

It's not a tip it's disorganised chaos that's the system I use in my van front and back.

I hadn't thought of that

I will be grabbing a few tomorrow as they are handy for things like lashing my harris pole to the roof if i have a gutter clear to do

Or neatening up my hose i use for customers taps

I will find a few uses for them

Yes @TolishAPurd they make good ladder straps

The bigger ones are £4 i was wrong but fit my ladders perfectly

I now have 4 small and 2 big ones

Can see lots of uses for them

Here in Finland those that use water fed poles in work uses a gray pluming tube 100mm on roof to store the poles inside.
