Hi,

Customer had beautiful glass extension built but the builders have left sealant all over the glass.

Any recommendations for removing cured sealant aside from just razor blazing the whole lot along with loads of elbow grease?

Cheers lads.

Thanks guys.

I was hoping there's some sort of chemical I could spray that would dissolve it..../emoticons/sad.png

Steel wool on the glass????

I'll probably have to change my pants after attempting that - bit risky....

You can buy spray on silicone sealant remover from most DIY shops, not sure if it's any good on glass though.

I've used 000 steel wool on glass, it's fine mate, leaves a brilliant finish, theres guys in the states that use it on all first cleans and yearly cleans, still gonna be elbow grease to get it off though, perhaps try some evo-stik sealant remover with it and see how it goes.

use a carbon steel scraper blade [not a stainless ] carbon is sharper ,has the edge
