View attachment 7626 any of you lads/lasses got one of these on your van or car? im thinking of getting one,iv had a couple of near misses recently. pedestrians that are hovering behind my van in the blind spot area .

im not sure why but some folk seem to gravitate to the blind spot area and then linger there .

this would likelyView attachment 7625 "get them moving "

I have a reverse camera fitted.

Caught someone TRYING to get knocked over.

He pretended to get knocked over and banged on my van !!!!!!!

Had a girl jump in front of my car in the winter, ambulance and police called, turned out to be a set up, a passer by heard the group laughing and planning it and told the cops otherwise I faced some sort of ambulance chasing.

At first they encouraged me to drive off and said she wasn't hurt, then suddenly spine pain etc. Luckily I stuck around and so did the passer by

I think its a good idea but i would want one on a switch as reversing into my drive at 1am beeping may be a bit annoying for my neighbors.

Would be handy tho to give Dave some warning to get out they way hahaha /emoticons/biggrin.png

av lorrys better lights than cars?

i ask cos iv always wondered how id av got along if id took up as a trucker ,cos i THINK iv got a sort of night blindness, where i struggle to see properly when driving in traffic at night

They're about the same mate. Prob helps sitting up higher. I rarely use full beam in the lorry tho.
thats intresting . bit of an odd question for you-how much would you charge to let me drive yer truck on a fully laden night run? bear in mind iv not even sat in a truck never mind set off. bleve id be ok once its rolling ,youd av to judge

i might use full beam

Lol lol lol. If it was mine mate u could have a go. I love driving early morn. Summer or winter.
spose u might lose your job over me eh

dyou follow the www.trucknetuk.com forum? i used to be on there [ fake it before you can make it]

i got unpopular with my "fixed policy" where i wouldnt move over on motorways to allow anyone else to filter in . i also had a great invention where i peed thru a pipe thru the truck floor. this meant i never had to stop

I am on there. I only lurk tho. I'm not a member. That's why my replies can br slow on here. I'm on there having a read. It seems they r easily upset on there.

dyou pullover [on main roads]most times to allow folk to filter in ? i wont do it . the filterer should be prepared to slow up ,and stop if needed . like back in the day

I only move over if it's another lorry trying to join. I won't move for a car. Up to them to adjust their speed to filter in. If you move over then the cars leave you out in the middle lane like a twunt.
