looking for new stuff but cant decide between

gardiners flexible but heavier hose

streamline lite 5

black face lift hose ( i use 60ft so blacks probably a bad idea ) it is soft though

or any other soft supple stuff you may know of

kinkwise ??
It doesn't coil up, but you can kink to stop the flow. Slightly heavier than other pole hose but not too heavy. You'll need a JG barb and 'o' clip or similar as the O/S diameter is to big to slide into a straight JG.

Exceed blue, the tubeless stuff. Used with hot and I have 100 metres of it so from reel to pole

It's good stuff IMO

I really tried with 30 metres of Gardiners reinforced hose for 3 or 4 weeks, on a reel with the Trolley. But I have give up with it and gone back to 'All season pole hose'. It seemed like the more I used it the more it would tangle ,twist and knot up. I really wanted it to work as it does look the part but , In my opinion its ****.

Pity you're not anywhere near Stoke mate you can come and collect it from mine /emoticons/biggrin.png

The reinforced lays perfectly flat and doesn't knot

The reason for the kinking issues is using it on a reel when it is actually pole hose..it starts to get twisted

All i do if it starts to kink is twist the pole a few times in my hand anticlockwise and it takes the kinks out

It is very good with a univalve as it doesn't stretch either

It's defo the best laying hose I've used, you can loop it up to put it in the van and it doesn't get all tangled. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts as I get through a fair bit of hose with my continual kinking.

Been using Gardiner reinforced hose since release and it's lasting well.

As Dave said (wonder where he found that out ) rotate the poll.

I love the black pole hose from WCW but it was wearing too quick through rollers.

I use blue exceed on reel and pole it is stiff but had no problems at all with it

I use to use gardiners all season hose bit found it to soft and didn't wear well

i use the blue exceed hose with hot water and tryed it with cold its the second best ive used the best ive used is rhyno hose made buy reach it not tryed it with hot water tho just cold

Its strange, a lot of people don't get on with All season pole hose saying it tangles and twists but i've used it on a reel since it came out with no problems at all. As @daveyboy says, pole twisting, but I just couldn't get on with the reinforced stuff at all. Even found it kinking. For me it is nowhere near as forgiving as the normal pole hose.
