in the pouring rain today

Cheers, the lady was well chuffed. One foot on the ladder the other on the edge of the conny roof and my srayer easily reached them top gutters. 20% virosol.

I highly recommend the sprayers in wilkos,(the ones with the brass nozzles not the cheapo ones). Perfect for applying virosol/ubik etc. Not for hypo though, got my ashbys one for that

I'm long overdue a new sprayer. I went through a stage of going through one a week so I kept buying cheap ones. Should have really got a decent one to begin with. My current one is another cheapy from asda but it's been good as gold so far. I'll have a look in wilkos when I'm in town next because I've heard a few people recommend them.

I really like doing UPVC

especially when it just melts off, such a lovely sight seeing a big soapy green mess running down the windows

Talking of pouring rain. In norfolk we had a months rain in less than 12 hours today. Needless to say I stayed in bed for a lay in. Finally went out at 12.30.

Fair play for getting out there. I'm a lazy git and would have stayed in bed, especially if the mrs was home.

Me eldest daughter was there all weekend with her hubby but they went home at 12. Thought I might as well go and do some. I can still get the week done by Thursday if I try. Only trouble I have is my lady friends daughter is ' helping' me on Thursday. That will slow me down and cost me £25 for the pleasure. Never mind.

Mental rain down here today. I had 2 jackets on and a sealskin hat on, but my shoulders and arms still git wet.

I've got work stacked up to my eyeballs at the moment so made the effort.

Straight home after that job and sat in a gorgeous, piping hot radox bath

I am behind because of the weather now so my 15 year old son will be coming out with me on Saturday

He makes a big difference as he is a whizz with the squeegees (learnt from the best since he was at nursery coming on jobs with me when i picked him up in the afternoons )

Will cost me a few quid plus a busters burger van trip

Probably a sneaky pint after too as no one questions his age
