I have a conservatory clean planned for tomorrow

She has just moved in and works in london all week monday - friday

No outside tap so will need to use 25l drums

No access except through the house

Given up my saturday off to do it

Now she just messaged me saying she is not about from 12- 4 tomorrow

I thought i was in this job for me to dictate hours etc and have other work planned for the morning now as i knew i was working tomorrow

Would you tell her to jog on?

surely youll be thru by noon if u start at 9 sharp . the deadline looming will no doubt speed u up!

Thing is it's only a £10 house monthly and will have access problems each time and i am starting to think of i bin her off now i will save myself a lot of grief

I have other jobs planned around it

Now she starts telling me the night before i have a tiny time window on the only day she is free

I didn't want to do the bleedin job anyway but have issues turning down work which is a problem i have

You like my avatar green??

Saw it on a shed in a customers garden today and thought of an old post of yours:rofl:

likely a typical female [scatterbrained] ,dont read into it , i think id shunt the others onto the arvo.

AS pro green said tell her you have other work booked in and the only time you are available is 12(or what ever suits you).

If she is mucking you about over a con roof clean she will muck you about over the windows.

This is why I would never take on jobs where you have to go through the house they will alway try to dictate to you what is good for them.

I wrote 3000 odd posts, only thing round here with anything in common with the Titanic is your jokes! /emoticons/tongue.png
No idea which post you are referring to.
When you asked was i a welder on the titanic amongst my other jobs lol

I remember it as i thought it was funny

Tell her you're booked up mate and can only do it at the time you specified. If she's serious about having it done she'll change her plans. Where is it mate?

I just made other arrangements then messaged her and said i am only available at the times she isn't

Then she said i will make sure my hubby is in

Too late sweetheart i have made plans now amd i don't want the job anyway

Wish i said no to start with

Will messenger you the address

I was going to offer to go halves with you and smash it out in half the time if you only had a small window of opportunity. PM me her details so I know to avoid her when she contacts me [emoji23]

Sack her off unless she agrees to your time. Would she dictate times to a plumber etc? Remember my thread last week when I had booked a gutter clean in and when I texted to say I would be calling the next day she replied that she was going out? Lack of respect! Feck em!

I need to be tougher @Tuffers

Sometimes it is easy to forget who is the boss

I don't need the job in all honesty so sod it
