Like to thank everyone on here for the help advice they have given me really glad I joined this forum thought about window cleaning for a while before I joined since joining have learned a lot got myself semi organised before getting customers, In the last week I have got 11 customers and cleaned 8 of them so far and wished I had started cleaning years ago. There is one member that as gone the extra mile with help/advice he knows who he and I owe him a couple of extra drinks.

Once again thanks everyone.

Nice one Den

11in a week don't sound much but multiply that by 20 weeks and you will have 220 monthly customers which if you had a tenner minimum would be £2200 month

That's with no extras and assumimg everyone was minimum price

Could easily make that £3k a month

i can see where your coming from, before i started on the forum i was all out trad would, int even consider WFP

joined the forum ,with all the advice of the guys here went WFP. Best move i,ve done now on the verge of putting second van on the road.

davey dunky likes the sound of 3k per month

I was the same duncs as you will remember

Trad for well over 20 years and wouldn't even consider "that useless water fed pole lark"

How wrong i was after speaking to people on here

Some like to be 100% wfp but i like a good mix of both but won't use ladders now

Wfp is definitely a game changer

I have wfp all so far, but picked up a small bungalow today 3 windows and a small conservatory which I going to trad next week got to make them combinators earn their worth lol.

I couldn't do this job if I couldn't trad anything

I just like it too much

I like the combinators now I have done the pickingpaul mod, cleaned inside my own Windows and found really good minimum mess, just in case customers want internal done.

I couldn't bring myself to get the wfp gear out to do a bungalow

Just couldn't do it when i can trad it

You're very welcome mate, as it's summer just make it a crate of Magners, it's on special at Tesco's at the minute.

Think you'll always be a tradder at heart mate. Not many left now
You're making me feel bad mate./emoticons/sad.png

...but fear not. I have a prediction for the future. Wfp cleaners flooding the market, and tradders being able to charge top whack for the novelty/speciality aspect of window cleaning. But for me, I'm just happy making life easier, and getting home not nearly as tired, it's great mate. If you ever decide to make the switch I will be happy to share with you what I've learnt as I would have struggled without help from damo/Dave/posh.

I do feel quite lonely out here now mate :gush: But if I decide to go for it I may take you up on your offer!

Makes life a lot easier, and at least you have trad skills as a backup, or even just when it's easier. I don't bother wfping bungalows.
